I definitely hear more noises and rattling going on plus the engine vs your Esteem. No more big rigs for me but it is a nice rig and I wish you both enjoy it fully.
It's funny, it's actually the opposite for us, other than the tapping from our blinds and some stuff falling all over the rig in this video! 😂😂 I get it though, this is absolutely a massive unit!
Good morning guys ! It’s soooo nice and that beautiful windshield is amazing ! I love the 4K CCC too, how nice is that 👍 The pups seem to love it too !
For your first ride, you looked like a pro! Def seems easier to drive just watching you drive it. I can see how it would be easy to speed in with such a big view. First thing I noticed was it seemed like you can really hear the engine in this. It also seemed like there’s a lot more rattles up front while you’re driving. I did read in another comment that the back rattles were from all the drawers and doors not being closed all the way, oops lol, so I’m interested to hear the next drive! 😁
Hahaha thanks, I felt like a pro. 🤣 That's very strange though, I'm not sure why it seems like you can hear it more in this, others have commented the same thing! You'll see in a few more videos from now how it really sounds (hopefully!) because surprisingly, it's about the same engine-wise, maybe a slight bit quieter with thicker flooring between us and the engine, and the exhaust is much quieter, surprisingly!
hahaha thank you!! Also, we saw a Coachmen today in Oregon and I wanted to shoot a tour video, but it was all locked up. I'll continue to BOLO! Which model do you guys have again?!
I love the Stucko siding by the way, very easy maintenance ( no maintenance except for pressure washing ) very clean look, love the Open feel, and all the room you have in Tuscon, not super crowded like Seattle... I had an uncle who lived in Scottsdale that I loved to visit...
Congratulation! Awsome rig! I came from class A to class C. Definitely alot space from Class A quick tip rear end is longer need a lot space and calculate just sharing my experienced and i did hit my side Marker 🤭 before.
Fun to watch your first go round !! We are taking our first next week. Going from our Class C to Class A as well. Ours is 30ft. so a bit smaller but still can not wait. Have a safe trip back to Washington.
It's a truck suspension, designed for a longer truck's wheelbase, with different suspension arms and so on, to turn sharper. The Esteam's suspension was designed for a normal van wheelbase and the wheels didn't need to turn as sharp.
Congratulations on your new RV Emma and Joel. What is your mileage like without towing a vehicle and towing a vehicle? Keep the great videos coming. You are doing a great job. Enjoy!!! 🐾🐾🐾😎😎😎👣👣👣
Thank you! We're getting around 8-10mpg freeway, 5-7mpg city, round about. And we don't tow a second vehicle, so we can't say for certain, but we've read many reports of 7-8mpg freeway while towing!
No toad plans yet!! And La Mesa was pretty interesting, we will have our review coming up in another video. I would suggest reaching out to Gabe Cabrales because hands down, he's been our best dealer to date, no BS that we've experienced outside of working with him. Otherwise, mostly a smooth experience!
Wow, what a open and amazing view now. I saw you hit 4k RPM is that noise about the same? So road trip now after to secure everything. Seems like the ride/drive is much better however hard to tell yet, right?
Isn't it a huge window?! And the noise is just about the same I'd say! The drive is 1000% better, much less movement from passing traffic and bumps in the road and such!
@@CozyLivingMachine so happy for all 4 of you.... It's great to know that spring upg was worth the price.... how's the MPG so far? I bet it gets better with time.
@@tg9388 Thanks!! And about 8.7mpg, depending on the hills, so a little less than our Esteem was. I'm hoping it'll get a little better, but considering the size, it's to be expected!
It's decently loud but we can talk over it with little effort still. A slight bit quieter than our Esteem was, likely just because there's a bit more between us and the engine.
Great video, great test drive... Sounds pretty sporty, like a sports car when you rev up the engine... Beautiful rig, but one observation from me... Seems like the rattling sounds are much more in your new RV than the Esteem 29V. Is that just my opinion ? Or do you agree...
Thanks!! And you know, we've noticed that the Esteem was much more squeaky in general, much louder, but this has the tapping from the window shades clicking against the wall and such!
We bought a Fleetwood Southwind 37F which is also 38'9". Might be close to same model as they also make the Vacationer. Here is our first test drive with liquid springs. We had similiar feelings driving our first time as you. I'm no RV expert, just a regular guy th-cam.com/video/42PRcBLNlNs/w-d-xo.html
It has now become obvious to me that you guys are the only folks on You Tube that use a huge RV as a daily driver? Turning radius - I’ve seen several other owners pull away from the pumps at a gas station and “catch” the rear or the coach on one of those short poles. So the question is would this style of RV be harder to clear the rear when departing from the gas station? Question for Emma - do you think you would be more likely to walk around while moving in this new coach than the last one? (th-cam.com/video/Rs4asoBWo_8/w-d-xo.html)
I think that may be the case, other than our ebikes!! We're definitely doing things a bit differently, I'd say! And we actually were just chatting about that in today's video that will be out sometime next week, but it's less of a concern than you may think! There are a few things I always look out for though and we talk about that. And Emma says "it rides smoother, it's easier to get out of the seat here and things are a little closer to hold on to in this rig but it also wasn't bad at all in the Esteem either!"

Hahaha thank you!! We're very glad to finally get to call it "home"!
Givin it the business! 5star tuning to pep it up..;-)
I've heard good things, better fuel economy and better performance - what's not to love?!
Glad y'all finally got it!!
Sure did! And what a unit!!
I think you just sold me on class A's again, it drove great
I'll say so! Plenty more great footage to come!
Exciting 🎉😊 Can’t wait to see it in person!
Very nice!!
Oh hello!! Thank you very much!!

Certainly seems nimble. Any plans for a Toad? How was LA Mesa to deal with? I'm interested in a couple Tiffin's that they have in Mesa.

@@CozyLivingMachine I think that's great for brand new engine without any bolt on upgrades and no DEF needed. Are you heading back to WA?
Absolutely! And yes, sir! Slowly making our way back. Lots of videos to be made in the meantime!
Somewhere along the journey, you might have said the answer to my question did you get liquid springs front and back or just the backend?
Front and back on this rig!
Is the engine noise really that loud, or is just the speaker amplifying it? It sounds loud!
It's decently loud but we can talk over it with little effort still. A slight bit quieter than our Esteem was, likely just because there's a bit more between us and the engine.
