You are the hardest working young man I know besides Eric from PA. The dairy farmer he introduced me to your channel. I watched almost everyone of his videos and I have gotten a good start on yours. It’s amazing to see you young man working so hard to make a farm work. You are amazing and doing a great job. Keep the videos coming
Dad is starting them early on the farm. Lane is very cute. Love you Sister. Seth, treat Hailey well. Like someone else said, "She is a keeper." I'm willing to bet she heard the corn stalk and tire comment before. Seth, you are a keeper, too. Love you all.
The aerial view once again was spectacular. You're lucky you still have nice weather. I watch a farmer in Saskatchewan, Canada and they are already starting to have a lot of snow for this time of year. Thank You I enjoy your videos.
I was surprised to hear that corn stalks could puncture a tire, or maybe Seth was just kidding with Haley and this naïve subscriber. Hopefully that load of 25 bales stayed on the trailer back to the barnyard A quick but neat drone footage included. 🚜 🚜 🚜🐄🐄🐄🐄 🚜 🚜 🚜
They were serious. Stubble damage has become more common since most of the corn is hybrid making tougher, not only in the metaphorical sense, but literally. What was initially meant to help farmers from financial ruin due to susceptible crops had an unintended consequence. The article below explains it perfectly www.no-tillfarmer.com/articles/1183-tips-to-avoid-tire-damage-from-stubble
Loved the drone shots! Great to see all the family and friends coming together to blitz that job. 😊 Looks like we're in for some cool weather here in the East. So, I guess your cold weather has arrived. God bless your new season! 🙏🙏🙏
When I was a hiredman I was always in charge of rounding up the cornstalk bales off 3 quarters and my son and or my daughter and I would pick up 160 Acres in a day with 2 flat racks that we extended for hauling bales and we would get 36 bales to a load and my son would drive the 4440 and racks and I would drive the skidloader. We could load and unload so much faster with the skidloader than the tractor !
From what I could see, you guys just need to learn to keep the bale spear level with the bale and it will slide right in. I had to learn the same thing... especially going from a soft centered bale. I did wonder if you had any trouble with wrapping the bales 3 wraps? I saw a couple that I'm pretty sure had less than 3 wraps.
Hello Seth, are these bales so tight that is even difficult to get the speer in? Or is this normal with corn chucks? Stay healthy and safe. God bless you and your family.
A bunch of years ago someone told me that one of the down-sides of GMO corn was that the cut stalks were popping tractor tires, and that all the tractors had to be fitted with Kevlar reinforced tires! Guess they were right??
Instead of gloating about putting 25 bales on the trailer you should have been getting a ticket for being overweight on your axles in violation of the factory specifications for load amount on your trailer And truck. You make it’s very dangerous for not only other people on the road but for yourself as well. You lose total control of your vehicle due to the fact that you have changed the recommended suspension for your truck and your trailer. Very bad business and not one bit funny.
Do you realize that the trailer is rated for 22,000 lbs. from one end of our country to the other at 70+ mph? It can gross 26,000 lbs. down our road at 25 mph.
My truck is also rated for a payload of 4500lbs. Which I did not exceed. Yes, I did exceed the tow rating but that is put in place for stopping a load at interstate speeds, not on a back road driving slowly.
@@farmerontheprairie 700 X 25 = 17,500 so unless your trailer weighs more than 4,500 lbs then you’re totally fine. But you’re right, I overload stuff all the time, the only problem is it takes 3/4 of a mile to get to 55mph :)

What a good looking Grandson!
I love his excitement, being on the farm! Very cute.
@mommaD You better keep Seth's camera away from Lane, he'll be taking over Seth's channel before too long! He sure knows who Pop is!
Hey Seth...great video ! I love the direction you and your videos are moving in. Keep up the great work!
I swear if your dad had his own Channel He'd be big time!!! Don't know Him but loving watching him and Reapeect him.
Great when you can get the whole family involved in farm activities like bringing in the bales. Should get Dad a cab for that tractor.

I'm with you Ken. I was taken back by the tire comment as well. Didn;t seem like Seth and Haley were joking.

Yes. Do the air bags.

Someone should make your farm in Farming Simulator! That would be so cool.

Good job man
How long including beavertail and how wide is the deck on the hesterberg?
8.5’x27’+5’ beavertail. So 8.5’x32’. It is a Trailerman.

We grow non-gmo corn.
Hey Seth, do you have a 3/4 ton or half ton chassis pickup?
You won’t be laughing when the police give you a ticket.
Gas is cheaper then tires and springs !!
What do you use these shuck bales for? Bedding?
Yes, bedding
👍👌🇨🇦❤
What did the bale end up weighing?
700 lbs. per bale.
I seen sister. : )-

"get it right." I'm sure you know the difference, just pulling our chains, right?
Put that child in a car seat!

When you live out on dirt roads no one cares d.o.t will never bother them out there
