2011 328i Xdrive same process or different!?

I replaced the starter with a new one and I can here it spin but it’s not turning the car over, any ideas?

I just replaced the starter on my e90 (328i). everything went smoothly, except now after a day or 2, engine starts to stall on start up and sometimes it stops at the stop, or even while driving slow like at the turns. I checked all the connections everything appears to be ok. Any suggestions what to look for?

I worked on one of the 07 X5 and did the same thing stall when stop and when hard turns, I find out to be the engine battery positive cable is loose forget to tighten good it it happens on one of the e53 x5 too! So double check you battery cable also the alternator cable too if it’s loose too start with that and then check your Intake manifold if it’s sit properly

I have a question my 2011 328xi drive did same thing lights came on and radio but, my car kept starting and I let go gas pedal would die and I kept repeating this and now nothing qt all comes on completely black weeks before my key fob would not lock and unlock the doors I figure maybe that is the problem or my Mass Air flow sensor but this video did just what my car did except started no clicking can you help me or anyone A guy who works on my car said its Starter ??? HeLp ty

This is a really poor design from BMW!!....why they didn't just put the starter someplace under the engine!!!!

Hey great video. I have a quick question. What is the hose called directly behind the engine. I cracked it pulling on manifold and it looks like oil is in it. The hose was covered in foam and black. Thanks I need to replace it but don’t know the name

I think the crankcase breather valve one of them connected to the back of the engine wicth is actually the back of the valve cover that the crankcase vent valve built already inside of it, it has oil separator! with pressure sometimes oil it finds it way to the intake manifold! its ok it happened ! but since its foam and black also if your car idling funny and losing power or consume to much oil !! i would say check your valve cover too, now for that hose that goes from the manifold to the back of the engine cover its call Crank Case Vent Hose
For PCV system 11157559528 make sure first pull the old one and check the part number .
