My Fun To Cook Book by Ursula Sedgwick is a book from my childhood. It was first published in 1969, but this copy was made in 1978 or 1979. Illustrations by Martin Mayhew.
I had this book as a child too! I made the cheese straws many times and loved them too. I came across it a couple of years ago I’m a charity shop and it took me right back. For some reason I didn’t take it home with me (probably worried about accumulating stuff that would get used) but I’ve thought of it since from time to time and wished I’d got it. I was surprised to hear it was printed so late. I thought I was given it in the late 60s.. Thanks for posting!
Nostalgia is a great thing! I also recently ordered some books I had as a child. Had all sorts of great memories come back when I went through them so many years or even decades later.

Nice vid! Your food vids are some of my favorites, so I'd love to see some cooking vids from you.
Have been looking for this book for years. Had it as a child and really want to cook Friday Pie again. So pleased you did this video 😁
I've scoured the internet for the Friday Pie recipe and can't find it. Please could you share it so I can make it?? 😊😊
Great stuff! I have an old 70s cook book. Some nice recipes in it!
With the mention of a idea of a new series cooking with RPK it made my wonder what does RPK stand for?
My first, middle, and last name.

First there was Catweasel, then there was Hamstercat.
Is the Flap Jack recipe in there??
Could you show page 47 peanut butter cookies? I’ve lost 5 pages from overuse and these were amazing.
