Like, with parents like that, its better to move out, Masa did the right thing disowning his family and hoping Risa would find her way to heal herself.
I suspect they trained the sister to think ill of him. Probably not intentional training... but they wrote him off and treated him as a discard, so his sister would believe that is how it is. I mean, they were young when it happened... and kids are easily trained, particularly in the bad ways. The sister was bad, but she broke because she realized how bad she was. So I think she could be redeemed... if she gets enough back bone to escape her parents and discard their way of thinking.
I'd also throw in, the kids seemed to be travelling far in a busy area for shopping when they both looked under 10, just irresponsible parents from the start.
I have seen that behavior before. Upon doing P.I. work, you can actually tell both the father and the mother (in real life) are usually the black sheep of their respective families. However, they were the black sheep because they were problem children to begin with, rather than having bad parents. Some people refer to them as "bad seeds" (meaning they had normal parents, normal upbringing, but they decided to turn out as scumbags)

I think her parents brainwashed her after the accident. Because i know someone how extreme self blame and traumatised, sometimes they're even injured themselves out of guilt. That's why when she's saw his original face, her memory from that accident are back. And the current her is how she's self blamed when she's first her brother bandages.
I don’t think that’s what happened at all. She doesn’t seem brainwashed at all. It’s just classic golden child syndrome. Once mc injured his face, they started preferring the daughter over him so they favored her more. I think you’re trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but I ain’t gonna do that here. They probably would have showed a flashback to that day he was injured if she was brainwashed. Her memories from the incident didn’t do anything. She acted like that because the famous person she had a crush on turned out to be her brother who she constantly ridiculed. And she snapped out of her trance quickly once she saw moroboshi as well.
I doubt she was brainwashed by her parents or by her own guilt. Because the revelation that Mani was her brother would have been so shocking, it would have revealed the hidden past. However, instead of being distraught that she was so cruel to the brother who saved her, she was freaking out because she was cruel to the actor she loved. Such a detail suggests that she came to terms with his act of self-sacrifice as one would relate to a washed-up has-been; with acknowledgement and indifference.
Masakusa's parents are jerks, instead of being thankful that their two children are alive and being grateful to their son for saving his sister, they instead treated him like a surplus and his sister she's no better for siding with her parents and treats her own brother the same way, even though it's because of her that he seemed that way in the first place. These people don't deserve to be his family and share his achievements with them, they never initially cared for him and looked down on him because of his looks. Therefore, they will spend their time locked up and watched with scorn from the judgmental looks of people that they were a bad family and will remember how they treated him when he needed their support and care. 😡😠😤
@@ХристиянПангелов this continues to prove my point about parental favoritism: they don't see their kids as family. They see them as a "retirement plan", nothing more. They are just honest with the unfavorite child while they groom the "golden" child (their love for them was never genuine to begin with).
It didn't help that Masakazu's parents aren't even at least apologetic after finding out he is a celebrity. Instead they angrily denied that fact to his face. And later they tried to take advantage of his popularity to gain money while simultaneously ruining his reputation as revenge for calling them strangers, even though they're the ones who disowned him in the first place just for accidentally scaring his sister. Not to mention they stopped bothering to 'fix' their broken daughter after the incident, having admitted that they counted on Risa to be their breadwinner.
Bonus: Masa appeared on a late night talk show to talk about his past. When the host asked him: “if you could go back in time, would you still save your sister?” After a few seconds of thinking, he answered: “yes.” When the host asked him why he would put himself through that pain again he answered: “because she was still my precious little sister back then, and it’s a big brothers job to protect his little sister.” Risa who was watching it was broken out of her madness as realization finally hits her about how ungrateful she had been. I was not prepared for that plot twist. You'd think his sister would love him more for having put his life on the line to save her. Instead she mocks him for the scars he received. Nah this is too wild
Afterstory: At one point, Masa told one of his actor friends (Kuroki) about the whole story. Hearing this, Kuroki got an idea. He uploaded a video that was a message to Risa. Of course the video criticized her for treating her life savior the way she did. However, he also told her that it wasn't too late to redeem herself. He said it's possible for her to mend her ways and fix her relationship with Masa. And after some convincing, Masa himself joined the video agreeing to this. Saying that as long as Risa reflects on her actions and become a better person, he was willing to forgive her and consider her his sister again. Seeing that video made Risa burst into tears, finally realizing what she did wrong. When she turned 18, she left her parents house and decided to live on her own. Promising to redeem herself and fix her sibling relationship.

The sister completely ignored the life altering choice her brother made to save her life. Then break completely when she realizes who her favorite actor is. This karma is gold. I do think it would have been even better if the parents had a severe punishment, they also completely ignored the reality.
Geez Masakazu just saved his sister Risa from the accident at the construction 🚧 when they were kids, and this is the thanks he gets by getting shunned by his parents?! Well, Masakazu's got what they deserve by getting shunned by the societies, as for Masakazu, he will continue with his acting career at Moroboshi's Talent agency Morodust. I hope in real life there are no people like that. This is downright horrible. If i were a parent and my son did that to protect his sister, i would be so proud, i would praise him everyday.
I honestly feel bad for Masa he deserved to be loved the most. And I also believes that his sister was meant to be a kind person too but maybe badly influenced by the parents. Now I hope they all understand each others value and forgot about the money related stuff and form the best family. Family is the most important thing in the world.
I do believe the sister was brainwashed at the very end of this so the parents don't have to struggle saying that it's not her fault it was his fault so in terms the parents were the villains of the story while a sister is a traumatized person at this point of time
@@LunaPPKright!? Either way, she was still terrible to her brother. Trauma doesn’t make you mean or suddenly stupid. She has no excuse. Trauma shouldn’t remove any autonomy.
His sister's brain being broken by the fact her brother is her favorite actor and his scumbag parents ending up as shut-ins sounds like karma went for their throats and caused them to never be able to show their faces outside again
I think a factor in why his sister's mind was shattered is: (1) She was unable to reconcile in her mind that the man she loved was also her brother, (2) she recalled every horrible thing she did to him, including every cruel and heartless comment, and (3) that she owed the one she looked down upon for her life. Ultimately, I think that what shattered her mind was having to face what she truly is...and it is horrible.
How could these evil people dare call themselves parents. And how horribly ungrateful was the person who is the "non"-sister. Truly disgusting! They all deserve nothing but the harshest recrimination. Truly repugnant!
Masakazu definitely made the right call cutting all ties from his parents but I feel like his little sister Risa has already learned her lesson and at least deserves a little bit of forgiveness if she comes out and apologizes to him. 😢
I kind of agreed but she did disowned her brother for many years up to that point. By then, it's almost too late to fix it even when she recovers from her mental breakdown.
some stories like this you think this sis would become a bro con or help him after what their parents did. but noooooooo, she bad mouth him and ended up like her parents
Masa's parents got what they deserved, though I can't help but feel bad for his sister, to a degree... She was still a child, likely influenced by her toxic parents, and while her parents just seethed at the thought having lost a meal ticket, Risa at least seemed like she felt a sense of remorse for her actions. If she didn't become broken to this extent, maybe she would have chewed out her parents, and even groveled and deeply apologized to him... Though I don't know how remorseful she genuinely was, or if it was just shame from realizing she said all those things to her beloved Masa.
I like the story called," The crane returns the favour." Which called," つるのおんがえし" as japanese. Once when I was in college help a kid buy a drink and she gives me some snacks in return. I felt that if I help someone, good deeds will return.
“In the same way that they treated him like this and isolated him, I hope that this return of things will give them time to think long and hard about the meaning of the word “gratitude”!
Guess in the end, even though he claims they're not his parents anymore, he still calls them his parents in his narrative. I guess he still cares for them despite all the abuse he got. What a chad.😢
Aftermath: Masa went to appear in a talk show about his childhood before he became a star. Masa told everyone at the talk show about his past and how he saved his sister Risa from some falling derbris and how his ex parents only made fun of him instead and brainwashed Risa to be mean to him as well, then the host asked if he ever saw Risa again and saw her in danger would he save her still. Masa said yes since she's still his sister and that he knew she was brainwashed by her parents and only wished that he could help her now without bumping into his ex parents. Risa was watching the talk show and broke out of her mental breakdown and broke down crying and apologizing to Masa and begging him to forgive her. Risa: I'm s s so sorry Masa, p p please f f forgive me. Risa had enough of her parents and she told them that she truly hates them and that they're the reason why they'll never live a happy life after making her hate Masa and ran away before they could react. 3 weeks later, Masa was heading to a grocery shop when he spotted a weak and hungry Risa in an alley and in a miserable state of guilt, regret, and hopelessness, Masa went to see if she's okay when she suddenly spotted him ran and hugged him while crying and apologized multiple times and begged for forgiveness for what she did. Masa told her that he already forgave her and only wished that he would've taken her with him so he can help her. Masa decided to bring Risa back home with him after getting some groceries and decided to take her to the hospital afterwards to check on her health. Soon Masa and Risa got to reconnect with eachother and became best siblings again and now live under the same roof he lives in. The End!

How can parents be so heartless after the mc saved his sister injuring his own face? And even the sister he saved treated treated him badly too? Well they got karma they deserve. They're so stupid
I like how she briefly broke out of her "brother brother" stupor to react to Moroboshi. I actually pity her. She ended like that because of her parents.
I was kind of hoping the sister would repent. Go and apologize and offer to be his house keeper, in exchange for just food and shelter (live with him). But, I guess she was a bit too shocked by realizing she had a deep crush on (biggest fan of) her own brother... and how she had been treating him. But yeah, the parents straight away trying to figure out how to use him made them irredeemable... within the contents of the story. Perhaps one day they would repent and just accept basic food and shelter. But then, I'm a softy. I'd keep them around like pets, so long as they didn't try being more than that. Because if they have the strength to try and take more from me, they have the strength to go earn it themselves.
This is full of plot twist, even Masa saves her sister, her and his parents treat him like a failure or a monster or both, but in the end Risa got insane and amental breakdown discovering that Masa and Masakazu are the same and the parents getting evindenced to the public that there were always been a family full of jerks and cruel, ending with Karma to them. This is so dramatic, I wonder/hope if you can make a part two of this story, please🙏🙏? To see what happens next to Masa and that family full of a***ole jerks
I know I’m not supposed to think too much when it comes to these stories, but how did the family not realize the brother’s face was healed? Also, I still find it extremely silly that the protagonist just wears a bandage all the time.
That tells you now little they cared. Anyone who cared enought to look would have noticed bandage were shaped differently. So they did care enought to even look at him
No. She doesn't deserve to be mentaly broken completely. You know that she never will be able to live in her own? Yes they've treated him badly but what he did to her wasn't a jota better! It was just taking an eye for an eye! And t h at despite the fact that she realised what she had done to him and I'm sure that if he had given her a minute of his time she would at least have tried to reconcile with him. I stick to it: even Risa does not deserve to live the rest of her life as a completely mentaly broken person who needs to live in a specialised facility as soon as her parents aren't able to care for her. So : no. This time I'm not on MC's side. He's nothing better than his family. Shame on him!

While parents are trash, I don't think it's all clear with his sister. Finally tying her brother and her favourite actor did NOT just punched her in the gut. It absolutely broke her. My take is that she forgot the accident blaming herself for it, but remembered the savior. Then, parents being trash, she picked up their patterns against bandage man as children easily do. The the dorama comes out and familiar face of her savior shows up. She is ecstatic everytime she sees it, it takes her from a broken home with bad parents and bandaged man. Kick out happens, she cleans up the room for it to become a sanctuary to her SAVIOR. Finally, two men collide. All the mistreatment to the bandaged man overlayed on the man she loved the most (The savior brother) with an actor wearing his face. Revelation strucks her over every kick she dealt to the bandaged man being the desecration of the man who saved her. That's why she chants "Brother" and starts chanting "Masa" only after being "switched".

Yep
Greedy narcissists.
Choking on her sobs she uttered: “b-brother. I-I’m so sorry.”
This needs to be made into a continuation!!!!
I know its a fictional story but like how could the writer think that the sister would be so ungrateful especially after being saved?

I was not prepared for that plot twist. You'd think his sister would love him more for having put his life on the line to save her. Instead she mocks him for the scars he received. Nah this is too wild
Afterstory:
At one point, Masa told one of his actor friends (Kuroki) about the whole story.

As what about the parents.

Little did they know that Moroboshi made Masa became the actor, the reason why he helped him because Masa told Moroboshi why he was being kicked out, so he decided to support his talent and and save him from his vampire family.

Thank God! Because my younger sister always loves and cares for me, not cruel like Risa
When people treat you badly long-term, simply cut contact with them. Mental and physical health are more important than caring for jerks.
How can parents be so heartless after the mc saved his sister injuring his own face? And even the sister he saved treated treated him badly too? Well they got karma they deserve. They're so stupid
My question is HOW IS HE STILL ALIVE!!!!
I have never seen parents react like that. Although there are parents way more cruel but it is always either super good or super bad.
I'm not as kind I would drain them until they off themselves but I would save the sister as she is so compromised I can't damage her
I immediately got Oh God No vibes from this.

I know I’m not supposed to think too much when it comes to these stories, but how did the family not realize the brother’s face was healed? Also, I still find it extremely silly that the protagonist just wears a bandage all the time.
