Dylan, I cannot tell you the kind of effect this song has had on me. I've always struggled with how I see myself, I've never liked my appearance. My one brother was really mean to me growing up telling me I was ugly all the time. Now, years later (12 n a half years married no less) I still struggle immensely. Through habits of his that have destroyed me and his lack of expression of affection for me. Maybe I'm destined to go through this or feel this way but I like to think that I can make the most of what I can do to improve it. If that means not being here sadly, I might just do that. I was and am so in love with this song. I know its about a partner but i'd play it to my baby in my belly at least twice a day for the 9 months because its just so beautiful and soothing.
