I kept looking up at ceiling to see if there was a projector and was blown away that it had a short throw one only a foot away pointed upwards to achieve this. It was pretty sweet. You totally should google the cabinet look.
Played this solo at an arcade yesterday. It really sucked. The crosshair didn't line up well with the gun's "sights" (which you couldn't actually use as they weren't shaped like proper sights) and jiggled like crazy, so you had to kinda drag it around like a mouse pointer. The gun's grip was shaped in such a way that it was uncomfortable to hold and even rubbed painfully against my thumb after a while. The enemies were so damn tough that you absolutely needed to get headshots, which thanks to the inaccurate gun were extra difficult to get on far away enemies, and everything was so dark and low contrast that they were additionally sometimes hard to spot. It really just wasn't very fun or had much spectacle as far as I played. I felt robbed, lol. How anyone is supposed to get through 15 stages of this at an arcade is beyond me. It's kinda sad that of the few modern light gun games I've played, none have been very good.
You know I never knew there was a Tomb Raider arcade game there was a walking dead arcade game but the best I've gotten in terms of footage was literally holding a phone up to the screen footage with some background audio
Played this with my gf, got stuck on 46:50 because there was this one archer spawning under the platform and shooting through the gaps of the wall (we couldn't shoot him back for some reason). spent like 3 minutes shooting at him but we coudln't get him so we quit playing.,
Fun game, but the light gun in this game is terribly designed (you have to pull the slide to reload, when other games have you either shoot off screen, hit the bottom of a mag, or pump the light gun to do so). As someone who is accustomed to ARs and shotguns, that is the WORST possible way to reload especially when you need to do it every 5 seconds.
I wasn't a big fan of the game. I'm sure it has been said before but actually playing it in the arcade is a detrimental experience. It's better to just play via Tecknoparrot, and even then I'd say it's a rather mediocre railshooter. One thing that everyone keeps forgetting is the lack of impact from enemies or even when you shoot. Sure you see the bullet impacts but not the flashing shape that indicates where you shot, or some sort of flashy effect when an enemy takes a hit barring a colour that covers them. Weak death ragdolls also suck. The gunshot sounds are fine in the video but seriously they're not loud enough in the arcade, which takes away from the experience. They get drowned out, which in contrast to many older lightgun railshooters, even in the busiest of arcades you will hear someone fire a shot in the older Time Crisis games. Then there's the fact that the players never look directly at enemies like they would in Virtua Cop. You can argue this is a common thing in many games but most of the time even in games like Ghost Squad, the enemies onscreen are mostly centred. It just feels like such a drag to play...
I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Are you saying your windows mouse cursor isn't in the same position as the crosshair in the game? If that's what you mean, you would disable the windows cursor by using the option "HideCursor" so you only see the in game crosshair.
You mean the in game crosshair doesn't align with where you're shooting? I thought by default, it should have been accurate. Still, if you set a key to go into the test menu, there is an aim calibration option where you should be able to fix that. I haven't done the calibration myself, but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.
i played through this game in the arcade... before it had a PATCH to add stages 11 through 15. i also played through the full game, but why would they include scores if you can't even input your name at all?? it does limit your fire rate, but you can hold the trigger down at least.
I did think you could shoot while holding the trigger, but it had been a while since I tried the game at the arcade and I never had played through the entire real arcade version. Unfortunately, holding down the trigger did not autofire here, but that could get fixed later.

everyone from my school thinks there so cool when they play this at my local timezone arcade 💀 they get only an accuracy of 40% and I only play this game occassionally and I get an accuracy of at least 90% and even 100% at times, as someone who played the Survivor trilogy
I agree. As a fan of light guns, 4 years ago, I used to play it on Tenpin at Manchester. It was just as you described. Plus, the cheapness would just rub salt in your wounds as it's just impossible to 1cc This game, forcing you to spend all of your hard earned cash. Looking at it now, I'd still say it sucks and will suck
I will never get tired of rail shooters. From the 80s Operation Wolf, to this very day, I have always been enamored with them.

Based on this 3 or 4 player is a must if you want to have any fun or any chance without dying or getting shot up too much.
