Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. @@angel9162009 I can see your point. I personally really like Lullabys voice but I think its restrictive in the fact that in alot of songs, if not handled well, it can sound realllly bad. I also feel as though because its so different from both of Gfs voices(the old and new/current one being used in the vid) its easy to dislike it as well. Honestly, if somebody did a cover of Left Unchecked with Gfs current, actual voice, I'd probably like it even more than the original(because I do think Gfs actual voice sounds better than Lullaby)

Honestly a lot of standing skins/mods (idk the right term right now and I don’t feel like thinking about it for two more seconds) that I’ve seen for GF.. kinda aren’t that great? I’ve seen a _really_ good few, but a lot of them end up feeling unnatural IMO. I like this one since it feels natural and looks good, although I’m not the biggest fan of all the detail they’ve put in certain spots. Hard agree on the voice thing tho, I love seeing people utilize both of her voices

Not gonna lie, after the creators of the trick mod made Hypno's Lullaby, I'm expecting more and more mods with girlfriend as the player's character, but I do think it will be looking a little be less outlined in unnecessary areas

I still remember when BanBuds came out with the Tricky Mod, and the entire Madness Combat community started voluntarily educating the FNF community on who Tricky was, and the background of his origins in reference to MC.
Then...
Expurgation dropped as the track of the Mod, and the whole FNF community just LOST THEIR GODDAMN MINDS. People could NOT get enough of Possessed Tricky, and Expurgation was an absolute BANGER. Within DAYS there were covers by people's OCs and more. Hell, someone even made SKY sing it and did a fantastic job.
Tricky Week was, and still is to this day one of BanBuds' most beloved mods. Then, months later...
Hypno's Lullaby dropped, and we went down the horror rabbit hole AGAIN

@@TrakeDaGamer to your question, I meant if you optimized the game for you to play all 4 songs in a row. Cause normally you can only play expurgation by going to the menu and specifically choosing the song but in the video after you beat "hell clown" you immediately go to expurgation.
