I love how the kid's card for Eevee is all bent, like he's been carrying it in his pocket around school. That's EXACTLY how every single one of my Pokemon cards looked.
I used to be like that, except I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh player. Now I treat the cards with respect and I am very careful with them, even if they are only worth pennies
Considering the game is for mobile, the only way to fold your cards would be to fold your phone. So it's one of those fancy folding smartphones 😂

Not just that, the coin success sound effect played 20 times. That mewtwo was getting hit with 400 damage

They always had luck based cards just typically they had a cap on flips, some don’t though.

I like how the Mewtwo player has the special sleeves that you can only pay for by swapping away special cards, that's a cool little detail showing he's a bit of a money whale in the game lol, love little things like that

The music is the theme that plays when you fight a Team GR Fortress Leader from the second game.
Honestly wish pokemon pocket had a story mode like that game which let you unlock cards. I would pay money for that.

I played a misty and got 11 heads in a row on turn one and my opponent immediately conceded 😭

That is 380 damage. Mewtwo didn't just die, he got giga clapped out of existence.
Edit:Just clear up some confusion I'm seeing below, the card says 20 damage times however many heads you get in a row. It's not 20 base damage plus 20 for each heads. That's why it's 380 not 400.

@@aa7146 Nah, if Celebi misses, you do no damage and could lose the game because of it. If Misty misses there's no downside. Just try again next turn if you have it.

I use a 2x Chatot, 2x Gyarados EX, and 1x Magikarp. With 6x Fossils, 2x Pokeball, 2x Misty, 2x Prof. Research, then whichever cards your heart desires. That is truly a Gamble deck.

I think you've truly captured the look of the p2w player who buys all the luxury cosmetics. That's exactly the kind of person I picture when I see those premium only silver on black card sleeves.
The black card sleeves aren't premium only, you get them with Special Shop Tickets from either trading in extra copies of gold rarity cards or buying them for 300 regular shop tickets a piece.
Of course, that's just a technicality. Anyone with the resources to get that many special tickets is almost certainly spending money anyway

For the people looking for the math, the odds are 1:2^20, as there are twenty coin flip win sounds, which would be one in one million, forty-eight thousand, five hundred and seventy six. Literal actual as close to one in a million as you can get with coin flips, for a total of 400 damage.

This man got 19 heads. 380 kills that Mewtwo twice over and JUST a little over halfway through a third time. I think the most I have seen is 11 on my 60 HP Blitzle. I did not let that battle finish before force quitting and restarting.
I once had to see my opponent's Eevee deal *140 damage* to my Pokémon. Thankfully it was just my Chatot, but still. 😭
