Trentino - Monte Cucal from Cavalese winter hike

This was a surprisingly cold and wet hike on Easter weekend, starting in Cavalese, a beautiful town in the Northern Trentino Region of Italy. As is often the case with seemingly unspectacular walks, this turned out to be a real scenic adventure with good views of the surrounding mountains. It also gave us a chance to test our new MSR Front Range shelter which we are planning to take on all future winter outings.
