Truly. I used to listen to this one on the way home from my after-school job; it was like magic how the peaks and valleys of the music matched every dip, turn, yield sign, and cresting hill. It was also the first thing I thought of when I heard about the beautiful cheerleader, Emma Walker, who'd just broken up with her abusive boyfriend, Riley. From outside her house, he shot through the walls and directly at the height her head, which she liked to prop up with extra pillows, lay in her bed. And again when Jolee Callan finally managed to break it off with her controlling boyfriend, but agreed to go on a hike with him "as friends" because he wanted to have one last outing together before she started college. At the end of the hike, he shot her in the head and pushed her off a cliff. Both girls were young (16 & 18) and beautiful. Both girls had the instinct that they needed to get away, but were stuck in cycles of abuse for at least a year before finally cutting ties. And in the end, each ex-boyfriend wanted to prove that not being able to let go of him wasn't something his girlfriend had struggled with, it was _his _*_command._* It's an element of the sinister that's well-conveyed by the different tone of voice used at the end of the third verse (~ @0:02:24).
I think the reason why people talk about unrequited love is because there are a lot of guys who look at a girl like the one in this song and think, "why the fuck is she with him? I'd be so much better to her," and they aren't mature enough to realize that it just doesn't work that way.

This reminds me of how i feel when my friends tell me how their hearts were crushed by some low life guy.Who doesn't understand how a girls heart can get broken after being with her for so long as they can remember.But anyways i'm glad that there are some people in the world understand a girls point of view even if it's a guy.This really kind of brightens up some peoples feelings in a way.Well im done for now wait until i reply some other time.
