I have an Abott neuro stimulator implant. Well it was St Jude medical but was bought up. It’s for migraine headache pain. All I can say is wow it works. Not a complete solution in that it’s more than nerves involved in my problem but it works wonderfully for my migraine pain. It does help on a smaller scale for prevention of them but that’s hard to assess in that there is no control data for me to compare against other than if I leave it on at low power I have fewer events. Thanks folks you gave me a life again.

Main point "these are all patents" so it will cost beyond your insurance for the next 15 years.

it points to innovation. The development cost for these solutions is not cheap, and there are many failures along the way, The cost of healthcare is because of poor government policy and greed. Why can you get the same solutions and medication for a fraction of the cost in other countries?

Hi Pamela, thanks for your kind words. We would suggest you discuss this with your doctor as they will be able to best advise.

So one day, we may have the technology like the movie "Matrix"?

Not exactly. Stimulating the brain isn’t even close to transferring human consciousness to a machine. If you want to get philosophical, there’s no way to measure consciousness and there’s ongoing debate if the mind is the result of the accumulation of neurobiological processes or if it acts independently from those processes.

This seems totally scripted. Transcranial Electric Stimulation is a fascinating technology that should be researched way more, but this series sounds like you guys are reading off a teleprompter.
