This is how I remember the district conventions 😭 I was baptized at 15 and was disfellowshipped at 17. I just turned 40 and tonight I went back to the Kingdom Hall first the first time . I won’t miss another one ever ! The biggest mistake was leaving Jehovah !! I can’t wait to get reinstated one day and see my family again and brig all my friends i haven’t seen in decades and serve Jehovah again !!! I can’t wait 😭😭. NEVER EVER LEAVE JEHOVAH!!!!!!!!
We, Jehovah's people, all rejoice when a lost sheep returns and welcome such with open arms. We must all respect the arrangement and wait for the elders' announcement before fellowshipping. Indeed it is. There is no amount of money that can buy that love. If someone is just recently disfellowshipped please try to get back . Don’t wait it off. It’s better to get back instead of waiting too long.

I’m going to miss this part of the convention. I appreciate that covid-19 means we can’t have a normal convention. But I’m going to miss hearing that opening song- to me that’s the point I give a sigh and say “ I made it through another year I don’t have to worry about anything for 3 days”
While we embrace all the recent improvements, we old timers can cherish our heritage. My first song book was the green one (Sing Praises, I think). Along with the magenta book, the songs were in alphabetical order by first word of the song. Number 1 started "All shall hail Jehovah's kingdom..." We thank you Jehovah was near the end. Notice how the new songs have eliminated words like "e'er" and "shall"? This old brain needs to work at putting new words to old songs. Still, I wouldn't trade the gold and silver for the stones and iron. Thanks for these recordings.
