Tim, trust me you can survive the summer heat there. I lived in Mesa AZ for 12 years before moving to Texas. I would much prefer that dry heat there over this humid heat we endure here in Texas 3 to 4 months out of the year.
This was a fun video Tim. I loved seeing the folks fishing in the Colorado River. You should get a bonus from the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce. You are a natural salesman and would be a success if you were selling cars, food or dreams!
I'm glad you decided not to settle down until you see the beauty of Colorado & the rockies and Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone. All so beautiful! 🏞🌲🌲🌲🫎
Air conditioner can freeze up and in the dryer areas that you’re in there a lot of people have swamp coolers which adds the moisture to the air and no freeze ups
Davis Dam. Hey, just a heads up, if you go over to the Hoover Dam while visiting Vegas, and actually drive across the damn in your truck, they stop everyone and ask if you have your gun with you. At least they did me. Be prepared. They even had me open my Class B side door, and the bathroom door. Oh, and the back barn doors on the van. Dams like that are high security.
Hi Tim, Your subscriber is correct, we were at Hoover Dam last week. You Can drive over the Dam and they DO ask about a Firearm and Drone. We were surprised too. We did drive over it and took the tour. 😀👍🏻
Tim cool video, FYI you can take the river all the way down to Lake Havasu City and see the London Bridge on the jet boat that leaves right off your front porch there, great footage for video, about a 1-hour 15-minute each way crush it !
@@SarasotaTim yeah early on my channel I would use it on my motorcycle and did a few videos. People don’t realize how hard it is to hold the phone and record. I love my ulanzi tripod from amazon
Hey Tim same thing happens to my channel and others I know. Subscribers "mysteriously" disappear. Something is fishy. $425 a month is a steal for that place. Hope you get in.👍✌️
@SarasotaTim Hoover is closer to Las Vegas think we seen it in 1981 when a bunch of us from the Restaurant where we worked went out to Vegas we flew out
Oh man, I loved this vid. So glad you took us over there on the bike! OPTICS, baby… OPTICS! Everything is better experienced by the saddle of a bike… the relaxed speed lends itself to noticing much more than if you’re in a car. The train trestle near the parking garage of the Tropicana is a relic from earlier days. Before it was bought out by Cesars Entertainment and the name changed to the Tropicana, this place was known as the Ramada Express, and it was entirely themed to steam engines and train stations of the late 1800’s / early 1900’s. Some of those architectural and themed elements remain around and inside the hotel. In those days, they did operate a steam train ride around and through the property, thus the trestle bridge. Big changes occurred with the acquisition by Cesars. My dad and I preferred it back when it was Ramada Express. We switched and stayed/played up the road at Harrah’s from then on.
Hey Tim ! I just subscribed ... I've been watching for quite some time. But for some reason I had not subscribed. IDK why. Well, I want to help ypu get over the hump, get you over 100K subs. You deserve it. Continue with your work for TH-cam content. I also follow other TH-camrs like Ame in a Van. She's fantastic. Check her videos out. I want to support her also. See on next video. From Texas in May, 2024.
Welcome to the community my friend I appreciate your subscription and your support. You might want to check to make sure you stay subscribed as there’s been an issue with many subscribers saying they find themselves unsubscribed after subscribing. There’s some kind of anomaly happening. Thank you again and welcome to the show about nothing. 👍😎
That's really a nice pathway to the dam. I very much appreciate nice walking/bike paths. The prices for that RV park are really amazing. It doesn't seem like you could beat that. Certainly nothing like the $1500 - $2k that FL parks charge per month for winter.
Don’t bring your neighbor Cousin Eddie with you to Vegas or he’ll have us in a local casino playing war and “trying some of the yella” at the 99 cent best boofay in town Clark.
Tim should really set up a Patreon, start live streaming or open up channel memberships! That will give you some concurrent income along with ad revenue from the channel. You have plenty of supporters.
I have a “buy me a coffee” link for those that want to support the channel. It’s on the front page of my channel and in the description on all my videos. Thank you. 😎

Keep in mind Tim Intense sun and heat really works on caulking of RVs.You're new but keep an eye on your seals you dont wanna develop any leaks.
How beautiful! So different than Florida! I love it no people! Too bad it gets so hot there! LOL 😎
Nice ride to the dam. Next thing to do is the boat ride to the dam from the Riverside Casino.
Tim, one of your best videos ! For real , LOL
Great video!!! Fun to watch!!!
What a beautiful place!
This place this looks peaceful. I could live there.
You can take the bike path over the dam and the trail continues until you are on the AZ side of the bridge to Laughlin.
Air conditioner can freeze up and in the dryer areas that you’re in there a lot of people have swamp coolers which adds the moisture to the air and no freeze ups
Cool bridge overpass
Loved this. Do more like it!
The Dam video, finally. What a dam good tour, on a dam pretty day.
You’re dam right. 👍😎
I guess it's better than going to "Amsterdam dam dam dam"
Amster Amster dam dam dam!!!
Nice trail to ride your E bike!
I wonder what feels worse .. Arizona at 105 or Florida 93 with 80%humidity ?
Humidity

I don’t believe they allow anyone to drive over the dam anymore. They built a new bridge a few years ago.😎

@@le4881 Yes. I was just there a few weeks ago. Caught me by surprise. It all turned out good tho. Whew!
Nice ride and scenery - thanks Baker. 😊
Great scenic video, Tim. Any idea how much it is to camp on the river?

Highest elevation I ever saw was an overpass....😅😂🎉
What a dam good video tim
Starting next week forecast calls for Las Vegas to be near 100 everyday.
For my visit, it’s going to be upper 50s in the morning and 75 to 85 in the afternoons through Saturday. Absolutely beautiful! 😎
Its 100 routinely with days of 105 and 110 in area of Oregon im at in summer. It gets hot in most places in summer, maybe Alaska not so much.
Great content Tim keep it up. Maybe get a cellphone mount for your bike.
There’s one on it I didn’t use it why? I don’t know lol I was worried about falling out 😎

Tim, you're only 90 miles from Hoover Dam, it's massive.
Been there I even stuck my chewing gum in one of the holes to help stop the leaking🤣😎
Great video! These are always so fun to watch 😊
Great video ,such beauty in the West.
Nice way to relax and see the sights. 👍
