Regarding you're saying you don't typically listen to rap, neither do I. There are a few songs I love, but for the most part I don't find a lot of rap lyrics that interesting, just from the limited subjects rappers choose to write about. But I love Harry Mack because 1) It's amazing that he does this stuff off the top of his head, 2) His vocabulary is immense, and 3) He can rap about virtaully any subject. So his extemporaneous lyrics are just more interesting than the stuff most rappers write about. PLUS he changes up his cadence and flow, AND he doesn't just use the suggested word, he does entire schemes about it, something that a lot of freestylers don't do.

Hand movements are like a metronome, helps with different cadences and flows. Id say pretty much every rapper started doing them just copying their favourite rapper trying to look the part, but after a while it becomes kind of natural and helps flow over the beat. Hmack was a jazz drummer too, can see him literally drumming out his flows a lot of the time.
Also, always great to see a new interest in hip hop.. hmack can get anyone interested in seconds. Same as any kind of music there is 100 sub genres from every country in the world, so its a matter of finding a style you like. Hmack is a mix of old school/concious/nerd rap (not a diss, nerd rap is an actual sub genre with very smart punchlines and wordplay, but avoids the gangsta image). And if youre struggling to relate to the content in american rap, Aus and UK have 100s of great artists that talk about everyday shit us aussies can understand.

Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! :D. 0:02 Welcome to the HMack Rabbit Hole Bro :). Loved seeing by the 1st Freestyle become not only a Harry Mack fan but also HipHop/Rap one too. Now, with Improv/Off Top (of the head) Freestyling, Harry Mack is on a whole level of his own as there are others who did this as well but not as detailed and consistent as Harry is, also uni3k.0ne gave some great points that I won't repeat but definitely pay attention to. 4:39 Yeah, the Dooo is the most popular Omegle Musician who's been doing that random perform for people on Omegle format, there's also Marcus Veltri who plays keyboard/piano who's been doing the Omegle Music thing alot longer than the Dooo too plus others who sing on there as well.
As far as Omegle Bars go, my most recent faves are his latest 55, 54, 52 and "some" of my all time faves are 22, 43, 18, 1, 40, 2, 30 & 37. If you want a consensus vote, maybe put a poll on your community tab or just go with what's mostly requested in your comments.

The Blasphemy bit that you touched on is a hotly debated subject in the community, but for a different reason than what you specified. If you watch the freestyle back, Harry actually set up (rhymed) to use Blasphemy for several bars before claiming that he forgot the word. So even though he didn't rhyme it much afterward, I wouldn't call it a cop-out.
Welcome to the Fam! Look forward to witnessing your journey through the Harryhole (I just came up with that. It needs work)! I would encourage you to study up on other freestyle rappers. Harry looks insane to a rap newbie, but when you see what some mainstream freestyle artists are capable of, this independent TH-cam rapper Harry Mack begins to look godlike.

I think you're right regarding rapping and hand movements. Because the primary delivery method is purely vocal, the throat being the instrument, there's no instrument to hold. The hands are empty, so they're free to add emphasis to the words. Also, just visually, it's more interesting to have the hands expressing emotion.

If you want to know who produced each beat he uses. Make sure to check the expanded video description for each episode. Harry always lists each beat and the producer for each.

...his hands are in key with the tempo. It's a form of body metronome. And he's a trained drummer.

This is fantastic. And no, you’re not wrong. They actually did not deserve him. I love it when he wins people over, but Anthony was clearly only impressed when he found out that Harry Mack was killing it on TH-cam. It completely changed his tone. But also, you gotta understand that I think Omegle is just a shit storm of horrible. So if they stumble upon anyone they don’t know, they’re not gonna give them much reaction, thinking that they’re just running into another idiot. Still. Love the reaction and have subscribed!
Edit: this one also, I love that you recognized the dedication that he puts into it. If you listen to him, he practices practices practices practices practices practices practices. And loves what he does. And always loves to improve himself. I really love your reaction.

I would say the biggest different between Harry and someone like the Dooo is that there are a LOT of guitarists in the world that can do that the Dooo does, a lot of them probably better. But i genuinely don’t think theres ever been anyone to do anything like this.

You have got to do number 52 next that is his best one by far and you've done 45 which is a good one now you have to do 40 42 and 18

Cool reaction mate. Discovered H Mack back in July when we were in lockdown in Adelaide. You're in for a ride. He started doing Guerilla Bar before lockdown in the US then started Omegle Bars. There are no bad ones but the classics are 45, 42, 32, 43, 50-55 don't go straight to 18. Check Rap God, that's mind blowing. Keep in mind he rapped for 8 hours at 800k subs, 9 hours at 900k subs then 10 hours at 1 million subs.

@@VonSchnitzelCrumREACTS hey mate, make sure to never skip his ads too (some reactors do that) they are better than some rappers songs. And turn the captions off, so much better when you don't know what's about to hit you with some of his doubles. Cheers.

I agree; you shouldn’t be that judgmental. You have a snapshot of less than 5 minutes of other people’s lives and you question whether or not they deserved to enjoy a live performance of someone’s art. They appreciated his talent and cheered. It’s not like they skipped him.

8:13 Dude he even explained it. He rhymed "blasphemy" like 8 times and like he said he did a whole scheme about casually causing casualties, should he do this again just to rhyme "blasphemy" again? ;)
He was setting up the word subconsciously and then forgot it.

  • @manisthere
    @manisthere 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Probably been said, but in regards to what you said about copping out on ''blasphemy''... He pretty much schemed the word already which is why he didn't go in on it after realising it was the word. In other words he did a bunch of rhymes for it already.

    Welcome to the H-Mack community!
For it to be a real authentic“reaction”, please turn off the captions. It seems as if you’re just reading it before it comes out of his mouth, and that takes away a genuine reaction.
Other than that, Great first listen to H-Mack!

#2 did not deserve it. but part of the fun of omegle bars is watching him convert people who usually couldn't give a shit. I will say tho in #2 the girl on the right looked genuinely interested the whole time and was not distracted, she is a G

The answer to your question at 6:56 can be found if you watch your own hand movements lol. I think it's just a thing we do when we're trying to put our thoughts into words, Harry has to do that but like 10x faster than the average person so his hands are all over the place
