Sunpie RGB Halo Headlights and Fog lights Installation

Here’s a quick video of how to install the Sunpie LED halo headlights and fog lights. I had trouble finding instructions for the set I purchased on Amazon and thought this could be helpful for someone else.

Issues after 15 days. Installation went super smooth. However after about 15 days, the DRLs quite working. The head lights and fog lights work, but the DRL's just quite working this past friday. The issue appears to be with the bluetooth controller. From the app I can see it connect. And when I disconnect it, it automatically reconnects. However the RGB DRLs won't turn on:(. I sent an email to Sunpie and they differed to Amazon which went to the third party vendor. But they did make a point to say to not connect the ground to the negative terminal of the battery. I'm going to try and mess with it a little more but I might have to take the controller box apart and see if I can order a new controller board.

My rgb Fogs started to give me problems about 5 months in. Some of the LED diodes wouldn’t display the correct color and some wouldn’t even turn on. Green is the only color that I have no problems with :/

The Bluetooth won’t connect to my phone.. any ideas how to fix it? I saw a lot of reviews that said the same thing but no one seems to know the problem and the solution

Did you have issues with Moisture getting behind the lens? just installed mind and not even 24 hours after there is moisture in the lens

If I buy my Halo headlights separately from my fog lights... can I use that RGB unit that came with my fog lights.to change colors on the headlights...?

Not a bad video but the bumper lights go in dot up, you just need to adjust them.

Junk, I’m in my second set and my rotating halos stop working after a month. Only half of the halos even work and then won’t turn off unless I disconnect them

How did you do the hot wire mine looks like the ground wire and is connected to my battery

Austin Adsit I connected it to the fuse box and ground on the battery where a screw was.

How do you connect it to the fuse box it’s a circle like the ground wire

Austin Adsit If it has a metal circle, you can close that into a fuse. If not you may want to remove the circle and expose the wire in order to attach it.

So I could keep the circle and put it in between the positive metal to the fuse?

I saw these on a wrangler a lot lately and I wanted to buy a set for mine but I searched up and found that these are illegal. How are people using these and not getting pulled over?

Brendan Miles they are DOT approved, so no worries

Only illegal for certain colors (red, blue and green) as that’s emergency vehicle colors. No flashing either. So be smart when using them.
