My uncle Bill Jenkins was the architect of the old west stand 1980-2017 - even though the plans were approved and everything was done exactly as per plan the club sued him for it - it was still ongoing when he died of a heart attack in 1998- the worry caused by the ongoing litigation undoubtedly contributed to his early demise. The main antagonists were Scholar and Sugar - but mainly Sugar.
The last game at the old White Hart Lane was May 2017. In your still at 5.12 it shows the north east corner still intact which, in our final season at WHL in 2016/17, had been removed to make way for the new stadium....just sayin.
Tottenham was in Middlesex until.1965. They won the double as a provincial club ! West Ham and Leyton Orient were in Essex until.1965. Crystal Palace were in Surrey until 1965.Brentford were in Middlesex until.1965. Charlton and Millwall were not in Kent after 1888, when they became along with Woolwich Arsenal , Fulham, and QPR, part of The County of London. Chelsea in1905 were the only team to be formed in London!
I am a Genoa cfc supporter but I've always had an interest in this club since I was 8 years old. One of my favorite clubs
my dad went there in a semi final in the 80,s he always said he loved it , from a Liverpool fan
A magical history
I've screenshot that pic of the cockerel from 1934 . (1:44) . What a great photo.
great work
