This might be the most I've ever learned about anything in 15 minutes. It has certainly been the most instructive video I've seen on Ableton. hi John. you an awesome instructor . wanted to understand the placement of the instruments, like you placed the chi hat on the 3rd grid 1.1.3 and why not in the 1.1.1 or 4th i.e 1.1.4?

This is a great video and I really like your simple teaching style. I am intending to learn Ableton Live 10 and create and record my own music. I have played hardware keyboards and synths for decades. Now I want to record these external keys into Ableton ( as well as use some VSTs and softsynths.) Do you have a tutorial on how to record an audio track from an external synth? And also how to record a MIDI track from a soft synth? I would love to learn these skills from you. If you haven’t made a tutorial about these subjects, can you recommend a video?
