I really love the Hyundai Casper/Inster, but I need the Off-Road version with AWD (2 motors) and better ground clearance, because i have a side of a hill home with about 500m dirt road from main road to my house and in Mud/Snow season conditions the AWD is mandatory to reach my home up hill. I also wish for a blue color option, and for the 750kg max tow hitch for the lumber trailer. I think this might be my perfect EV to own if it has the mentioned options, I was thinking spring at first, but it has too many downsides for the price, this tiny but spacious Hyundai Casper/Inster is perfect in every way, it has everything you need a small EV to have. [I am still disappointed in the Volvo EX30, it could have been the best, if they just had a few real buttons (not capacitive) and knobs for safe climate control, HUD and efficiency]
In Korea youtuber tested a lot . One of the best range was 511 km in one full charge. And over 400km is easy to reach. Korean range standard is quite conservative Whenever the company informs about the range . It is better put at least 100km more.
I've sat in one. I set the seat for my driving position. I then sat in the seat behind and there was a ridiculous amount of space for such a small car .
I have seen a dutch test, journalist was 2.04m and heavy and he could easely sit behind himself. We have seen it at the dealer already and the inside room is unbelievable, when the back seat are in the farest settting, the 2nd row can be slided over 16cm Going to be our next can, ordered and will be delivered in januari 2025
I see you have changed your mind on this one with the Cross version. You were not too keen before. This is my next car as it comes with heat pump as standard and a 4x4 version would be very useful for a small family getaway short break vehicle.
I dig the purple color, very 1930s/40s. More purple, green, & orange color cars worldwide as of late. I was told they don’t sell/resell while growing up in 90s/00s but I see tastes changing. I love it, the world had a cold, stale, soviet look to it for a few decades with mostly silver, white, black cars on the world’s roads. Make cars fun again! And two-tone paint jobs! All thanks to EVs.
It is getting better with affordable EV's. It started in the EU with the Stellantis models, ë-C3, the Fiat Grand Panda, Then Renault came with the R5 Etech. Then from outside the EU, the Inster, Leapmotor TO3, the DongFeng Box, all EV's around €20k and €25k. Good work, and much better than what VW or Tesla are promissing for years and never gould build. All hail the Musk dictator god, . . . . but the ones that realy deliver are Stellantis, the Korean and Chinese. And the Inster is very compatetive. Price starts in the EU for around €24.300, where the cheapest BYD starts at €30.k and that BYD model was never for sale.
Agreed that decent sub £25k are finally here. Citreon and MG started this and those that cannot follow will disappear. Dacia spring will be very popular just not big enough for me.
Awww, I LOVE it has the Pixels. I have an Ioniq 6 with pixels. I've heard its pronounced Hunday like Sunday. My 91 year old Mom just calls my Ioniq 6 a Kia so its all good. I live in North Carolina US.
This little car looks very much like the Fiat Panda in its new form. It’s not imported to England yet, but it’s something that looks a good car with a great package.
* If you are curious about why there probably be less selling of EV's in Sweden next year it is probably because the government added an electric effect tax (force ppl to pay for powerpeaks to save the poorly electric net) because when they killed the nuclear power plants and gone for wind power they have no planned power to use when the wind is not blowing and they can't have enough power on daytime. * About Solar panel... In our country you produce pretty good in April to September (summer time here) but then the price is low and you don't get paid much for selling the produced solar power, hell in august I had to pay 10 USD for producing 1300KWh to the grid. This Solar panel problem adding too the effect tax is killing the EV's market opportunity for us
the battery range figures you quote must be reduced by 20% because you *cannot* charge to 100% (which Hyundai has disingenuously used for the range figures) or the battery will be damaged because it is NMC chemistry
@@RuislipResident-v7p LFPs can be fully charged without causing accelerated battery degradation, NMCs can’t - Owner Manuals for EVs with NMCs will confirm this.

Renault Scenic that is smallish size SUV with 600km range is 40 to 50 thousand euro
Remember guys, Elon says these are pointless. Sadly, he's lost the plot. This is EXACTLY the sort of car we want from Tesla, not this cyber themed nonsense. It could use a bit more range to make it the main family car though. Not all of us want or need a big or medium sized car. Small cars that are well designed are just great. You could put a washing machine in the back of that, and you can't in a Model 3. It's such a pity that the Model 3 wasn't a hatchback. The Model Y would probably never have been needed. Too many miss steps by Elon. He doesn't listen to what real people want.
It may be small, but it sure is slow. Here in Texas, you will be run over by a cattle truck on your first road trip. They will not allow the car to be sold here because of the dead meat part.
The best solar company in Australia just installed my new solar system.

We need some slower EV's for those new to driving with high insurance. Years and years ago a 0-60 under 10s was amazing, now 6-8s is the norm.
