You're very welcome, @@Colorado_Native! Who doesn't love "The Munsters" and "The Flintstones"? I'd rather either of those classic programs instead of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and "Real Housewives Of (Insert City Of Your Choice Here)" any day of the week! Enjoy your evening, bro!
This has been a very refreshing visit to a less stressful time. I still love these shows! I still watch them, too. Now, i will look for the goofs i missed! Many thanks.
A goof that happens a lot outside the show is that people refer to Grandpa as "Grandpa Munster." He's actually Count Dracula, Lily's father. Herman's last name is Munster, not Grandpa's.
I like the Addams Family but yet I love the Munsters most of all. Grandpa is actually a full blooded Dracula but yet he has a reflection in the mirror and also he never burns up in the sun.
"Moose", Robert Easton was a dialect coach to some of film's biggest stars. He called himself the Henry Higgins of Hollywood, after the professor of phonetics in My Fair Lady
Nice, The scene of somebody to the left after Herman comes out of the stairs is a child. This is probably because they had tour groups going through. And a child simply walked in and then walked across the back of the set. If you look closely, you can see that it is in fact, a child.
Herman Munster is a Extra Class Ham Radio operator (W6XRL4) in Herman Calls a Martian he is actually registered with the FCC since Jan 21 1963. Also, even though his singing "In my Mother's eyes" is wonderful, it is in violation of part 95 rules.
The scene with dragula, its a stunt double and he also is outside the car just before the guys remove the parachute. Herman holds fake grandpa's hand and they walk off.
As kids we loved the Munsters, too. We took a trip to Universal Studios, and we walked around the set, and my mom took pictures of my brother, sister, and I standing with wax dummies of Herman and Lilly. I wonder where those pictures are now ...
ough = cough, rough, and dough. aughter = laughter, daughter. Spelling in English is a NIGHTMARE that is filled with more goofs than you would ever want to a make video for, so being gracious about spelling booboos, is might reasonable.
@@tvcrazyman hi from New Zealand! once again mate I really appreciate what you do. I have the Munsters on DVD as well -just spotted another goof in the hermans lawsuit one-there is a large aerial or something in the top left of the frame (when you’re talking about his hair piece falling off ) I assume it must be something like a trigger wire because the car falls to pieces Have a look and see what you think.😊

Munsters sometimes have visitors which are regular people to explain other people in room or another room. Makeup on Grandpa's face would protect from sun exposure. Some allege Eddie is a werewolf so did Lily make-out with her brother the wolfman?
At 4:16 I’m wondering if they allowed it in for one of two reasons or both A: they didn’t have the budget to go back and fix it when they may be discovered it later, or B: televisions cropped it out, especially the older ones that had more circular screens.
At 2:00 - 2:01 for a slpit second in the upper left corner of the screen, you can see some sort of pole most likely with a string attached to set off the car falling apart.
I think back then most of their focus was on getting as big an audience as possible so naturally to do that they had to focus on entertaining the audience. Plus, the actors I think more often came from humble backgrounds and could relate to the average person more. But, whatever the reason, it's definitely true, they don't make them like they used to.
The actor (Irwin Charone) that played Lily's brother, Leonard (the wolfman) was also on a few episodes of Bewitched, like the episode called "Super Car" as Mr. Sheldrake. I thought that the scenes with Leonard were hilarious when he got to meet the family.
Great stuff and still one of my favorites. Another trivia (but probably well known) is that Munsters cars were designed and built by the late, great master craftman George Barris who builted cars for the monkees, green hornet, and practically all the batman movies and the original series.
It just wasn't height, spelled incorrect, but brown'e', spelled wrong. So, if Grandpa's son is a Wolfman' and Lily, who is like her dad, a vampire. Isn't that the same oddity, as a vampire, and a Frankenstein's monster, having a wolf boy?? Actually, it makes more sense, that Lily's Brother would be, the father, of Eddie?? But luckily, they're not in the region of the US, where that's prevalent😏…………
Nothing to do with the show, but Herman's license reminded me that when I was 11 years old, we moved from 1316 Hill St, to 3213 13th road. Wonder if that had anything to do with me getting in trouble when I was a kid? 🤣
At 2:00 Did you not see that Fishing Rod looking thing at the top left side of the screen over Herman's head. It comes into scene and disappears quickly... Probably part of the car dismantling? Stay safe... Rico
What's the thing, looks like a fishing pole, comes down just after 2:00? (top left corner) Someone here said it triggered the car wreck, that's probably it. 7:44 Brown is also misspelled, then corrected with pen 8:03 Grandpa is Lilly's father... (Wolfman is her brother) never knew why she called him Grandpa, Herman did too... Probably for Eddies sake.
Interesting. I never heard of that before. All I can say is that I always see it spelled as Heights. So, that makes it a bit of interesting trivia I guess.@@Genevieve111
