For a hiking trail it looks pretty good. I was hoping it was better for cycling. I have cycled through that area quite a few times, starting back in the late '80s. One the climb up from New Denver near the Beaver Pond I encountered a cinnamon black bear sitting on his arse on the side of the road who just watched me as I cycled by. I will cycle the highway as these days I ride a trike but that Slocan rail trail would be nice for you to try and it isn't that far away and a bit more civilised. I see you have done it, cool. At least the ride back Kaslo is a real treat and that is why I like to take the Golden Triangle going clockwise.
Your videos are always so interesting to watch because you stop to capture the details!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate your positive feedback!

The riding in this area was amazing!
Here’s our ride of the Slocan trail. th-cam.com/video/F0nf-hd5up8/w-d-xo.html
Have you considered using mountain bikes? EMTBs would make quick work of the climbs and rocky stretches on that trail.
We have MTBs but we just enjoy the gravel bikes so much more.
You guys need gravel suspension forks like the Fox.
Our bikes have the Future Shock, but it’s only 10 mm of travel. It does help a little.
Probably going with a 650b wheelset would have helped some on this trail. Looks like quite the adventure. You captured it well. @@PiquePictures
@@davidf1288 We are actually riding 650b wheels with 47 mm tires.
Did I see an InReach on you?
Yes! There were days when we were definitely out of cell range. We didn’t want to take any chances.
