Lyndsay, I mentioned the book Stolen Focus on one of your earlier videos. Love that book. I am that weird person who actually lives in society without a Smart Phone. I have a flip phone that serves its purpose when actually necessary. I log onto my computer for about 30 minutes in the am and again in the pm. That's it. If I am out somewhere where I have to wait for something, I just open whatever book I am currently reading while everyone around me is scrolling away. All this makes me feel in control of my own life as much as that is possible.
It sounds like you have such a peaceful way of living and you are in complete control of your technology! That is great Carole. And yes, what a wonderful book it was!

This was an awesome educational video which gave me insight into ways to get this addiction under control, plus the climbing was awesome! So far I watched it three times! Keep them coming!
Hi Lyndsay - so glad you made this video, very needed. After spending 3 years decluttering and still not feeling "right" I realised the BIG thing still needing declutter is the phone - I also did the "dumb phone" approach 👍 RAIN so precious ❤❤❤
It’s almost like because it’s so close to us it’s easier to miss… but doesn’t it feel so good to have finally declutterred the phone!? And yes this little doggie fills my heart🙂💕🌸

Which one is best the dumb phone, just want it to be upto date but confused with whether to go with an e-ink or a flip phone -Bigme Hisense or pro (release 13th jan i guess) -minimal phone (world wide release between jan to march) These are the ones that i know of actually
I'm honestly not sure what the best one is. I think it depends on the person, where they live, what they feel they need, and what they don't want to have access to in a phone... I think the www.thelightphone.com/lightiii looks quite nice, and the company seems very ethical, and thoughtful. But the ones you mentioned (Bigme Highbreak, The Minimal Phone) look interesting too. There are just a few things that keep me from making that change. But since I actually made my IPhone much dumber I've gotten used to using it as such. So making the full change over seems much more of an option for me now. I guess it's time to do more research! Keep us posted on your own thoughts.
@lyndsayallison2325 sure, just doing my own research as even the retro flip phones are not cheap due to the increase in demand. The e-ink phones are interesting, but I'm just not sure how optimized they are in terms of as a daily driver. Hope to get some input on your own research on this.
