    I would say not having a home gym was a huge mistake of mine. Covid hit and like everyone else no gym and could not even her equipment or had to wait months just to get the basics. I’ll have a basic home gym moving forward and happy to save hours a week in driving back and forth.

    Your body looks superb! I don't know how the hell you have NO fat on you. I'm jealous. I exercise great and have nice toned muscles, but it's not as visible. I'm a female with 20+% body fat. And trying to reduce body fat always ALWAYS results in feeling starved. There's nothing lacking in terms of strength, but the torture I go through every time I tried to eat less is agonizing painful, every time resulting in a binge. Not eating less means I won't lose my belly fat. Eating less means I'll probably end up binge-eating in the end. So, I'm stuck.
    No matter how reasonably I tried to cut (stopping eating carbs, grains, trying intermittent fasting, doing it slow, doing it fast, tracking everything I eat ) - no matter what - always end up binge-eating in the end.....
    The only way it feels sustainable is to not lose any fat and not gain - just stay the same......
    I cannot get any leaner and stay that way!!!! The only thing that helped me a.
    little is growing a bit more muscle. So, I got a little bigger BUT look a little bit slimmer because my fat spread more across more muscles. Yet, I still would like to be less fat.... it's a struggle....

    Sooooooo real. I used to really care about being big and training for hypertrophy. I quit the gym from like 24 to 32, and got back into it this last year mainly to lose weight and blow off stress. I ended up getting kinda fat in my late 20s and so I had to cut pretty hard as I really wanted to be healthier. Dropped about 75lbs or so and am now around 15ish% bf and stronger than I ever was in my 20s as I learned much more about proper training. I didn't have many resources when I first started learning and now there is so much good info out there. I have also kinda moved from a more bodybuilding based goal to strength. I still want to look good and be fairly lean but I would rather be as strong as I can instead of just gaining size and getting super lean. Love lifting again and am really lucky to have gotten around 3500$ worth of home gym gear for around 700$ by really scouring classified ads right when the quarantine started and right before the serious price gouging commenced.

    Just here by mistake 😉 very confident Joe, started to watch the meal prep vid. to cook for my son😔painful but true, he does not trust me I am a foodie person 😝 ....here every now and again, thanks for all the tips and advice you give also to very young like my son(15/16)that would try dangerous things probably on his own now that gyms are closed...seriously now is more dangerous than he was little less worry if you bsby-proof the house now how you teen-proof the house so he does skip meals to shred, or takes too much proteins a day🤪parents did not learned that in school right?!?
    Keep things real and most of all heathy not risky 🙏 dangerous

    My main issue is I'm not sure if I should cut or bulk 😔 it has been bothering me for a while now.
    I have followed a high protein/low carb diet and lost 71lbs in 6 months , dropped weight & BF% from 250lbs/43% to currently at 185lbs/24% and still on a caloric deficit of 20% ruffly , around 1600 calories a day. My biggest mistake was not focusing on gaining muscle from the beginning and despite lifting heavy 4 times a week I do not gain any muscle or see changes on my body.
    Based on your experience and years of training, what would you recommend, drop BF% even lower then start a bulk or should I just focus on increasing calories and gain muscles. What worries me when bulking is getting fat again and I do not want to be fat again but I wana look lean and muscular to.

    Can you make a video on tracking lifts ? What you find is the best way to do so and some tips for those getting into tracking their lifts.

      Craig Roch why did you delete your previous comment? Did you realise something? Like you said if you can’t increase lifts by 5% every week there’s something wrong with that person and let’s take that 250lb squat for an example since you are normal, there are 52 weeks in a year if you increase 250lbs lift by 5% every week
      262lbs>275lbs>288lbs>302lbs>317lbs so after only 27 weeks you are squatting 913lbs..... you must be some alpha male specimen mate

      Craig Roch I’m not saying you are wrong about changing up your workout routine every month or few, I was specifically talking about your 5-10% increase claim every week, so if you don’t add those 5% to the weight how do you? So you increase your rep by 5%😆?

    One of the most crazy things I realized by watching this video was that I naturally discovered all of these mistakes very early on when other people came at me trying to push me in the wrong direction. Great video, really reaffirmed that I'm going in the right direction.

    I feel kind of discouraged with this... I consider myself skinny fat and you said it was better for some skinny fat guys to start with a cut or maintenance calories but then i see this and it might be a mistake being cutting. Idk maybe i’m just overthinking it.... but here is another great vid from Joe.
