The song is actually called Forbidden Colours by Sakamoto-san. They used it for the movie. R.I.P Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Most recently I went to Singapore for three nights. During the time I was there I saw this wonderful show. It was so beautiful and captivating that I watched it all of the nights I was there. I really loved this show as one and I wish to go back and see it again. Love from California, USA!

I've never been to this show before, have only passed by the area and heard some music / lights flashing. Now with your sharing, I feel like I've watched it 😄 The doggies is so cute, that phoenix is gorgeous! The line up of BPMs are emotional, the mandalas are so well crafted. This is indeed a SPECTACULAR SPECTRA :D (claps together with the crowd at the end)
After 2 years, it's good to see this Spectra restarted again. Together with the live band, the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade has come alive. The mandalas are beautiful but what are BPMs?
The owner of the doggie was kind to allow people to pat and talk to it. I pat the doggie too but I did not talk to it.
@@SingaporeCityWalks Everything is opening up again in Singapore it seems. I meant the song BPMs, fast to slow.. vice versa. The build up makes one feel emotional at times. The doggie is really cute 😄

It wasn't crowded as this was the 2nd night that the show started and tourists aren't coming in big numbers yet. Good to see this show while it's not crowded yet. Just visited your channel. You are creative and artistic 😀

Great video. My wife's favourite is back. Hard to tell in your video but do they still have a stepped seating area to watch from ( just like the good old days ) ?
I think the steps are gone long ago. They have 1 flat upper level and 1 lower level. without steps.
MBS is planning some outdoor event or fair. They are building a vey big tentage over the upper level.
@@SingaporeCityWalks Yes they would come and go when we were there last. Or rather they were built over with a platform for food outlets etc. Such a shame the steps are gone for good I guess.

Marina Bay Sands: The most logical way to see the pool on the roof of this hotel, which you enter by showing your passport to the casino, is to have lunch at the poolside cafe for 45 US dollars. Otherwise, they only allow you to go up to the rooftop observation area for a 15-minute tour by paying 16 dollars.
Huh? The casino and the roof top infinity pool are at different buildings separated by a road. At the rooftop observation deck, you can up be there as long as you like 😀.

I was right in front at the Marina Bay Sands Promenade. It's open to the public and its free. Take MRT to BayFront station and walk thru The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands to get there.

This SPECTRA show is free and is performed nightly. The best place to view is at the Marina Bay Sands waterfront. Next week, there will be 3 other New Year Light Shows in the vicinity - Fullerton Hotel, Merlion Park and the Art Science Museum. All are free. Enjoy!

@@bbmagicaltoy5348 Marina Bay is always extremely crowded on New Year's Eve as people gather to watch the New yYear Countdown Fireworks. Usually, the whole Bay Area will be barricaded and people will be stopped from entering from about 7pm. This year, after the seeing the crowd crush in South Korea, security will be even tighter, therefore the barricades may be closed even earlier. If you want to see the SPECTRA show and the fireworks, you will have to go early.
If you only want to watch SPECTRA, I suggest that you go on Dec 30th or Jan 1st. By the way, the best place to watch the fireworks is at the Esplanade waterfront side, not the Marina Bay Sands waterfront side.
