I just want to make it clear that CSTD is an extremely new release, so it is kind of expected that CTD is gonna be better, plus there are many functions I think CTD needs that CSTD has.

I could write an entire essay about problems with cstd it is concerning just how many flaws there are in it just to list a few: the gui is extremely inconsistent, lobby gui and tower upgrade gui don't look very good, a lot of tower models barely resemble their source material and/or have models that simply look ugly (recon in particular, though demon's last two levels have an atrocious color palette & material), enemy healthbars seem to not function like a proper healthbar (the healthbars have a tendency to show no health in the bar when enemies still have plenty of remaining health), some tower sfx aren't parented properly (resulting in the sfx playing globally), and the tower balancing is pretty bad also I would like to point out that, as an ex cstd tester, I got to see a lot of the original stats for towers, and I gotta say that some of them were quite scary (the trickster tower was originally going to have a whopping 300 dps and 900 melee dps, without even accounting for the bleed effect that it's attacks applied. And also, gambler was originally going to get an ability that would cost money to use, but would give you a random amount of cash out of a table. You had somewhere around a 40-60% chance to make a profit off of the ability, but it was still a crappy concept. I am glad they scrapped that ability)
