Thank you Jinne. At Christmas, I make homemade bread and Orange Marmalade for a bunch of people at church and all of our doctors offices. I will make this but as Orange Syrup.
What a great idea! I never thought of that. I dehydrated the lemon and orange peels from my last project so I can grind them to add to breads and cakes, and so I can make lemon and orange extracts. But I like this, too! Thank you!
Another great idea! Our kumquat trees died during an extended cold snap in Florida 9B. But, I think it’s time to replace them. Do you have the Nagami or the Meiwa?
If you want to can this lemon juice how long would you process it. I would love to have this on hand. ❤ thank you for a great idea!!! Yankee ingenuity!!! 😊

Great idea I will be saving my lemon peels from now on
I'm always making lemon water so i have tons. Thanks!

Yummy! Another one to add to the cookbook!!
I just want to know how on Earth you go through that many lemons!😮 Lemon syrup does sound pretty good, though. I bet your house smells amazing, too.
We have been making our own lemon juice for cooking, and my kids love lemonade. This is a few months worth. 😉
Nice nice idea thank you
Thank you, Love the idea! ❤
That is awesome , i love that , THANK YOU JINNE
What a great idea! I love not wasting a thing
I have a kumquat tree and also make them into syrup.

@4zooflorida I don't know......my mom planted it years ago. I also dehydrate them, as well as with my oranges and lemons. Very Blessed.
Love this! And I just threw out fresh lemon peels... Saving from now on! I bet you could do this with other citrus fruits as well.
Yes, limes work great as well.
Fabulous ❤❤🎉🎉
Great video! I will be doing this.
A slotted spoon would work better for dipping.🙂
You’re on 🔥🔥🔥 with these DIY videos!
I need to try this. Thank you for sharing.
You could use orange peels, too.
Great idea!!!
looks good! I'll have to try that. ❤❤❤😊😊
Would it be okay to add honey, ginger and herbs that treat cough to make a cough syrup?
I save all my lemon peels in the freezer. I cut them into cubes and use to cook fish or add to my water or tea or wherever I need lemon.
I hate to tell you but, high heat and long exposure to heat will destroy the Vitamin C. However; the lemon syrup is very tasty.
Good video, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
What if you added lemon juice for an added kick or whatever?
I heard that freezing them kills the vit c.
Still sounds good.
Could we get your recipe for lemon glaze?
Hmmm...I been throwing them away.
I gotta admit I didn’t know that you could make a syrup from lemon! I always associated syrup with sweet foods!

I water bath canned for 10 minutes. 💕🇺🇸
@@HomesteadCorner thank you.
I am sure that there are still benefits but heat destroys vit c. I would cook at the lowest temp and the shortest time possible.
Organic lemons or does it matter?
👏👏👏❤❤🕊️
Heating the lemons that high, destroys the Vitamin C.
Vitamin C is destroyed between 85 and 95 degrees. Doesn't hurt that great flavor though
