I plan to do that one and a KastKing Baitfeeder in a full breakdown and service in the near future. Please stay watching to see when I post. Thank you Dennis
@@2ndChanceTackle Thats great! I have the baitfeeder model alright from them. But all pretty new and haven't needed a service yet. I'll look forward to that video! Keep up the good work.
The numbers indicate the reel size. The answer to your question is it depends on what type of fishing you are going to do. The 4000 is the smaller reel and good for rivers, lakes, pier and inshore fishing. The 6000 is the larger reel and is good for bigger fish, surf fishing and deep sea drop fishing - Dennis
They are good for the price, It can catch a Lot of fish but do not expect it to last. The metal quality isn't good and with time It will start to corrode.
Yes that's a very common problem. There is a fix fir that. You need to scrap/sand off the actual metal platting until its bare metal. Prime and paint it black. You will never have that issue again. If they painted the metal black not metal plate it then this would be a great reel.
Looking forward to see the full disassembly of this reel. Curious to see if it looks as good on the inside as on the outside! 😉
You and me both! I should get to it this week - Dennis
I would really love to see a full breakdown of this reel. The aluminum body sounds good but curious of the internals and rotor.
I plan to do that one and a KastKing Baitfeeder in a full breakdown and service in the near future. Please stay watching to see when I post.
Thank you

I got this exact reel for surf fishing and planning on using it in nags head in October.
Please let me know how you like it - Dennis
@@2ndChanceTackle Hi, im planning on getting this one for surf fishing but I want to know whats the max lb for braid line that can support
I'd like to see the guts, I was looking hard at the Sharky 3 baitfeeder but so many failures made me look elsewhere
I plan to do a full take apart of this one and a Sharky in the near future, so please stay watching for the post - Dennis
I looked at Amazon some people who bought the kastking megatron 6000 why doesn’t it have the big round knob handle?
Not sure on the handle. I guess that is a question for KastKing - Dennis
I'm new to fishing but I'm wondering what is the difference between the numbers? 4000-6000?
Should I just get the biggest one? 6000?

"It's like déjà vu all over again."
Sort of. I did the bail, now the review and I will do. full take apart in the coming days so would that be deja vu times two?

Thanks for the note and additional information. I will test this one and see how it lasts - Dennis
