Shohei Otani's batting is truly in the realm of gods. Is this what a pitcher undergoing rehabilitation can do? He is by far the No. 1 baseball player of all time.
@@PotatoTaylorsVersion13You can argue he is the GOAT just because of his average results. He definitely doesn't have all-time counting stats because he came to the league later than most of his HOF peers, but nobody has ever hit and pitched to his level in the bigs. He can, in any given year, be a top 5 (or even top 3) hitter and pitcher in the league and win a unanimous MVP. When your average season results in unanimous MVP, you are very very special.

He is unreal, like a "ULTRAMAN".) I'm glad to watch games in 2024 seasons with everybody loves baseball. See you in 2025 seasons!
So all of it is ohtani and judge gosh can't get a break of that guy hes not the only baseball player that is good how about 52:00? Francisco Lindor should have won mvp ohtani just won cause favoritism
Let's be grateful for the opportunity to debate whether No. 1 is *the first-ever walk-off grand slam in the WS* (by an injured player) or *the first-ever 50-50 season* (with 6-6, 3 HR, 17 TB, 10 RBI and 2 SB, by a pitcher recovering from injury).
I knew that there would be a lot of people who think that #1 and #2 should be switched. However, I disagree. The reason: Freeman's was the result of the team effort leading up to it: This happened in Game 1 of the World Series. At the 11th hour, going into the bottom of the 8th inning, the Yankees led 2-1. Ohtani landed on third base (a double + throwing error), then Mookie Betts drove Ohtani home with a sac fly to tie the game. Freeman hit that unreal walk-off Grand Slam in the 10th inning. On the other hand, Ohtani's was a little more of an individual effort, accumulated throughout the regular season. One could correctly say that if it weren't for Freeman, the Dodgers would have lost game 1 (Then it was highly likely that the Dodgers would have won at home in Game 6). Likewise, if it weren't for Ohtani's 3 RBI and 2 Runs in Game #1 of the Divisional Series against the Padres (Dodgers won 7-5), the Dodgers probably would have gotten swept in 3 games, because the Padres won the next two games in the 5 game series.
As an Astros fan, I’m a bit disappointed. I was gonna watch this video anyway, but I see Yordan in the thumbnail and I get excited. But I see no yordan highlights. Which is bananas because he hit for the cycle and had two 3-hr games. Not to say these should have been low on the list, but they weren’t there at all. (Also Skenes is in the title and there wasn’t any of him🤷♂️)
For D-Back fans: 39:04 Nr. 31 Corbin gets robbed by the brewers 45:13 Nr. 21 Del Castillo walk-off HR / first career HR It seems MLB wasn't really watching in august
Is it because there are too many games or because the games are too long? Baseball could be more popular. I want people to watch baseball, especially in this age when short videos are popular.
1)Too late to update. We knew the Shohei's yesterday. 2)Too much 100. The first half is boring. Shohei's & Freddie's are enough. Sorry as a Shohei fanatic😛
I have to say this. No catch, caught in a baseball glove will ever be spectacular, or even great. It’s far too easy to catch the ball with a glove on. I see no reason why outfielders particularly need to wear them. Ps. The ball is hard in cricket (heavier actually). Only backstop and those on bases should be allowed a glove.
For my own memorandum
02:03 Ohtani Home Run at All Star
15:45 Ohtani Home Run at NLDS
