I just want to say thank you for supporting the channel. It’s been a struggle to get videos out this year but I’m going to do better. Let us hear what tools you bought this past year. I love to see what everyone is using. I truly appreciate all the support and feedback. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
@@TwoTurtlesAndAWrench I know what you mean I've not got too many videos out this year I've only got 70 subscribers I just did a video recently of the service truck I got
I wish I would’ve got that set. I was late to the game. I really like my 1/2” flex diehard. The vessels are nice for sure. FYI The warranty is lacking. Only one year
@TwoTurtlesAndAWrench they are a tough to find since they are discontinued. I found a set on Marketplace and got them shipped. I paid full price, not the clearnace but they were well worth the cost. The EVA foam insert is really nice. That's a shame on the warranty on the Vessels. Recently I snaged some Lennox screwdrivers at Ross and Burlington of all places and I really like them as well.
Can’t go wrong with the 252. I wish I would’ve bought the 52. I have the 212 and I hit the duty cycle all the time. I wish I could go back 10 years and buy the 52 instead.
@@TwoTurtlesAndAWrenchyou should look around in auctions and you may find one cheap. Sometimes people don’t know what they have and some people buy these machines and never use them, then their family sells them cheap at Estate Sales
I just subscribed to your channel after a short about this video you are killing it good quality super honest loved you video about the sunex keep it up
Thanks for sharing your 2024 tool purchases with us. I always appreciate an annual tool purchase review. Those Vim spark plug sockets look fantastic. My favorite tool purchase this year were my Carlyle 3/8 ratchets, got 'em on sale for 20% off.
Totally agree on the Snap-On pliers, Icon flush cuts, Vessel screwdrivers. I suggest the Vessel Impacta (Japanese spec. phillips impact driver, there are two sizes) you can use these as handheld or just smack on them with a hammer. Very handy, especially if you work on Japanese cars.
It’s been working great for me. Just make sure to keep it the thread lubed and watch out for the cups binding. Basically just use common sense and it should hold up
I just got that new 3/8 Milwaukee stubby and I will be getting that icon ball joint remover from your recommendation. Thank you Sir. Please keep rocking in the video. I’m to am a diy guy. Oooo and I forgot about the snap on pliers!!! There the best pliers to have.
I’m hoping the stubby holds up. The thing is impressive. With the ball joint press make sure to keep the thread lubed and watch for binding. If it bottoms out with an impact try some hammering the a arm. Sometimes you’ll need heat. Binding and a big cheater is about the only ways it will fail. Or that’s what I think anyways. Everyone needs a pair of the Snap-on Talons!!
Favorite tool purchases this year. Trusty cook stumpy hammer, wright and proto impact sockets, NOS SK 12” Cold chisels, snap on flank drive adjustable wrench set.
I got a couple SnapOn ratchets I like the old hard handles..But I did get the new Gearwrench 3/8" ratchet and stubby socket set..excellent...Also, my Primeweld tig 225..Great setup for under $1000.. awesome accessories including the flexible CK Worldwide ck17 torch..and proper foot pedal control...Merry Christmas 🎄
Never can go wrong with Snap-on ratchets. I’ll have to check out them stubby sockets. That’s a great deal on that tig machine. Don’t know anything about them but I do run them ck torches and them ain’t free. Also a good foot pedal ain’t cheap either. What a deal
Bought alot this year. My milwaukee long needle nose are amazing. 120xp ratchets, icon digital torque wrench, astro low profile sockets are great, milwaukee 1/2" breaker bar is the best, vim magrails are good. Tekton socket sets, Wright grip 2.0 wrenches and Wright impacts. Kingbolen k10 scanner is my favorite as well. I spent alot this year on tools 😂 Keep up the videos man love the channel and content!!! I fortune want the induction machine next. Michigan rust is rough to deal with
Man you didn't screw around. How you liking them Wright 2.0's? Besides the finish I'm a huge fan. Been thinking about getting some Vim magrails. Tekton sockets are solid as can be. I don't know anything about the cheaper induction heaters but the Venom is awesome. I was about to get a cheaper one but they gave us a good bonus at work so I upgraded to the Venom. I truly appreciate the support. Merry Christmas and Hope the New Year is great to you and your family.
I really like the wright grips. Went with full chrome. I had a fire last year and all my tools were lost and or stolen within 24 hrs. VIM magrails are nice. I'm picky as well so now I might try toolgrid by olsa but I want green and purple which is sold through matconot olsa sad I know. @@ShawnC8030 Olsa contacted me about reviewing some of their products. I got pretty excited about getting the tool grid. Come to find out they would send me anything but the tool grid. Made me a bit sad. I want to try the tool grid out one of these days.
Appreciate the info. I have a few different flush cutters and even though they almost all say they can cut soft wire I don’t even try. I just feel like flush cutters aren’t really ideal for it.
Yep for sure. I have knipex’s smaller flush cutters. Love em. Since HF puts their stuff on sale all the time I always wait for the deals. I usually don’t need something from them right away so waiting is no big deal.
I guess I'm used to the Craftsman screwdrivers, including the Professional ones. Most of my tools are USA made Craftsman, so that's what I'm used to. I put y garden hose on a reel like that. I found it back in like 1999 at the curb and Suncast sent me the parts to repair it. I just tossed one of the other ones I had after SC told me that parts were obsolete for it. Yes, some of the old Craftsman (made by Emerson under the 113 model prefix) and other brands sound like an air plane taking off, but they did work. The Shop Vac ones are quieter and they supplied Sears for a time (under the 338 model prefix). I must have 15 wet dry vacs, mostly Craftsman and Ridgid, most from the curb that I either fixed up or they were good as-is. One was just clogged with wood chips. It only needed to be unclogged to work. Another was screaming. I took it apart and the problem was a bunch of carpet fibers that were jamming the fan. I removed them and it was quiet after that.
@@googleusergp dang I thought I had a lot of shop vacs. Can’t beat free and some elbow grease. I’m still partial to the USA made craftsman screwdrivers too. Still use them all the time
