Watched 3-4 videos, saw a child seat review and subscribed. Really good videos. Some reviewers out there just read brochures and tell me what I can find on the official websites: I need a real facts, real life examples and things I would see if I went to dealership. Good job Alex!
Alex, love your reviews. Just FYI, VAG has built supercharged hybrid setups. The Cayenne Hybrid and Panamera Hybrid both use V6T supercharged engines w/ hybrid. However, this car may be the first supercharged hybrid that you have driven, as stated in your video.
Hi Alex, I have the Hybrid AWD and love it. You didn't mention the Drive Mode Selector (snow-eco-reg-sport). I find the Sport setting is effective when I want to have a little fun. Great review!
Hello Alex, as always all your videos are super awesome. an advise, which one you will recommend. Used 2014 Xfiniti qx60 fully loaded with all packages including technology and driving assist or certified 2014 Toyota Highlander XLE with similar price around 30k and similar miles of around 50k. Thanks
Just FYI re: 2nd row 40 side and child seat maneuverability: it is possible to keep a child seat in the 40 side of the 2nd row of the 2015 BMW X5 and move it forward to gain ingress into the 3rd row.
Hi Alex. I love your videos and I think they are very thorough compared to a lot of other reviews out there so. I am asking only you this question. Do you think you could make a video comparison against the Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum because I love both but I don't know which one to get. I know you might not be able to get both at the same time so if you know you aren't able save your time, but if you can please do. I'm counting on you.
I am looking for the best fuel ecomony SUV with a 3rd row. Would you buy the regular Infinity QX60, the QX60 hybrid, a pathfinder, or Highlander hybrid. Is it true that Infinity & toyota are not making new hybrids. I cannot find any of these vehicles at any dealership?
Never really thought about the JX35/QX60 before. However the strengths seems quite good for my father who keeps wanting a luxury SUV but concerned about MPGs alot. He loves the ML350 bluetec diesel but that's out of price range. He thinks the GLK250 & Q5 TDI is too small. I think I can show him this car. Thanks again Alex.
Thank you so much I find your videos so informative that I watch it over and over again because there's always something in them that I missed on the first viewing. I'm happy with my purchase and now I understand why the car sounds like it does when I excel....THANK YOU*
Alex, EXCELLENT and thorough car review. It's great how you compare features with other competitors and how you suggest other factors to consider when buying this vehicle.
Alex I would like to have your professional opinion, should I buy a 2004 land rover hse or a 2004 infiniti g35? The land rover costing about eleven grand and the g35 about eight. Thanks and great review, you truly have mastered this!
hello alex, is this a 4 wheel drive? am considering buying this kind of car provided that it is a 4x4 as i live in canada where i need a car that can plow snow on the road.
Great review, Alex. I'm disappointed in Infiniti for not introducing high resolution cameras on this luxury crossover. On the large 8 high resolution screen, the camera shots are blurry and difficult to see clearly. Infiniti cheapened their products with this camera system that probably employs the same camera sensors from the Nissan Note.
Bad news that this QX60 Hybrid and Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid are discontinued due to falling gas prices and fuel economy that doesn't have much difference in gas savings.
hi Alex, i've seen quite a lot of complaints about the 2014 QX60 regarding reliability. What are you thoughts on long term reliability of the non-hybrid 2014 QX60?
Sherry Alex already mentions that in the review. If you want a sportier ride, like the BMW X5, go for the MDX. If you want a softer ride, have kids on child car seats, go for the Infinity. I currently have the MDX 2012 and when the lease is up next year, QX-60 Hybrid would be my choice; if I decided to stay with a crossover SUV.
NSNQST Few more things coming from an MDX owner; if sportier ride is not a must, the fuel economy on the QX-60 hybrid is compelling. I find the Infinity interior (leather, plastic) to be superior than on the MDX.
rexrem It depends greatly on the hybrid system. Ford and Toyota hybrids have been very inexpensive long term but we don't know enough about the other designs like this yet.
very very good review you should be a public speaker for Ferds. Enjoyed video so much that I decided to buy one. I want 2014 QX60H, how much will it cost me. I can pay up to 35K. Thank you for the video
+Andrew Yang I got one already, i bought to rent to Uber drivers two of them, I bought on auction 1 i bought for 35K had 22000 miles and 2nd 27K had 43000 miles, bought MSRP $63570, fully loaded. pre-owned
Richard Lugo my friend has an access to biggest auction in USA, Manheim. they are nationwide... I bought another one for 22k 2014 56k miles also fully loaded car still had original headphones unused
when those brakes are being applied with that radar cruise control ..does the brake lights turn on as well..just like when one would apply brakes manually..
derickj1976 You are not going to take selfies with it or post your meals on Instagram :) All it needs to show: a smiling kids face while you backing up into it and it delivers
I'm not crazy on the "fish mouth" either. But yet the side profile is nice. Hate the rear end, those tail lights are ugly and so are the rims on this model. So really, I'm torn. Overall I feel it's a pretty nice exterior design, but I'd tone down the fish face and raise the tail lights to make it a bit more attractive. Add some two-tone rims, too ;)
I've been behind a couple of these on the road, and I noticed a bulbous hump in the roof. It looks like a bit of whale or smaller dolphin from the back. Just my opinion.
The Toyota Highlander is not even in the same class as this car and should not be included for comparison. We have 3 kids and the third row seat on the Highlander is a dangerous joke. A rear end accident in the HighLander and third row occupant will be seriously injured due to the seat back being up against the rear door. This is not an option for my children. There is no room behind the third row of the highlander either for storage or groceries. The Highlander's third row seats are just thin uncomfortable fold down (To Use) seat and a not serious "All Time" seat for a family of 5 or 6. If taking a road trip with your family; you would need a pod for storage. There are much better cars out there for that type of mission.
The only reason it was included was because viewers were asking for a Highlander vs QX60 comparison. I can't see many cross shoppers myself aside from the hybrid vs hybrid cross and that is mostly because there are so few hybrid CUVs.
I don't understand the need for a cruise radar. I've been driving for 30 years, I've never rear ended anyone on the highway and I've never seen someone else do it either. I really don't see a need for this. I would think these type of systems would make drivers lazy.
christschool It is like saying you don't need air-bags because you never rear-ended. Nobody wants to rear end. Maybe you haven't rear-ended but there are people around you have done or experienced one. It doesn't make drivers lazy. It just tries to eliminates those rare moments when you could possibly rear end someone. Maybe I won't do it but I would definitely want it to be there for my family.
Hi Anthony, personally I prefer the hybrid. The break even isn't too bad and there really isn't a compromise for the improved economy.

Setting pretty high standards in your videos Alex. I watch them even when the vehicle in question isn't on my list.
stephane matis Totally concur with you; Alex's videos are riveting. Since I first came across his videos, I haven't watched Netflix even once :-)
I love my QX60 (3.5) & all the bells & whistles
Seems like a reasonable choice to me. Your reviews are detailed, and objective in all the right places.
Best auto reviewer bar none.

But this has a 4cyl supercharged hybrid which nobody has

Actually he did, it's at 13:30 on the video,
You weren't paying attention
QX50 and Q60 look the best to me

does this take premium gas or regular ?
Alex, EXCELLENT and thorough car review. It's great how you compare features with other competitors and how you suggest other factors to consider when buying this vehicle.
I really like that you always comparing to other brands. Thanks
I quite like the styling of the qx60
I would only buy it for the hybrid. I look at the Pathfinder, and Highlander hybrids, but this one looks the best.
Another solid review! Good insights and comparisons!
barely hear the wind your camera is awesome.
I know you said you were getting an infiniti q50 sometime this summer, but could you do a qx80 as well?
Very detail. Rate A+ for ur review.

Wow, very different vehicles. I am partial to the Land Rover, but you need to keep in mind the below average reliability and high repair costs.
Alex on Autos very true but thanks!

Land cruiser
Thank you for this video. it was very informative. I am looking at the Lexus RX 450h and now this vehicle.
Always liked this channel

Tim Joseph where did you hear this?
Motor Trend Smartphone App.
great car review. this is a pretty nice luxury crossover
Are they going to put the nice new LED lights in the 2015 model by any chance?
Thanks great reviews very professional job !!!!
Plz review the Outback!!

rexrem It depends greatly on the hybrid system. Ford and Toyota hybrids have been very inexpensive long term but we don't know enough about the other designs like this yet.
Alex I have a question about this car. I am comparing it to the infinitei qx60 v6 and the hybrid version. I am wondering, what is a better
Could you please do a review on a GM full size SUV? Escalade, Tahoe, Yukon...?
This is a cool vehicle with the hybrid drivetrain; very surprised and disappointed that it was such a bust...
very very good review

Um you can't get any decent luxury car with 35k

I bought on auction

Ok
Hey where was this auction, looking to get one myself
Richard Lugo my friend has an access to biggest auction in USA, Manheim. they are nationwide... I bought another one for 22k 2014 56k miles also fully loaded car still had original headphones unused
when those brakes are being applied with that radar cruise control ..does the brake lights turn on as well..just like when one would apply brakes manually..
Yes. All autonomous braking systems activate the brake lights as well
Alex on Autos don't you think the camera quality is a little blurry compared to other vehicles in its class
derickj1976 You are not going to take selfies with it or post your meals on Instagram :) All it needs to show: a smiling kids face while you backing up into it and it delivers
***** yea, I guess your right.
Perfect
is that the idle speed? it looks like its over 1000rpm

Audi Q7 has the best look followed by Infiniti QX60. The old Acura MDX was good looking but the new 2014 model looks ugly to me.
Exterior is okay but Infiniti please get rid of that disgusting centre stack!
kinda looks like a qx80

Weak hybrid system especially for the price.
