- Swans are the largest living water fowl. They are often easy to spot among other water-loving birds as swans are typically quite bigger than these other birds. Swans also generally appear all white in color when compared to the mottled markings in many other waterfowl species (though swans do come in black and black and white!). There are six living species of swans and they are found throughout most of the world.

Size: Up to 30lbs (14kg) and 6.5ft (2m) wingspans

“Swans tend to be monogamous throughout their lifetimes. However, this isn’t always the case.”
Sounds very similar to humans.
Fun fact, here in Chile we have a species of swan, if the female dies the male sometimes commits suicide by flying in the air and then crashing down
Yep, thats kinda sad
@@jlagaviota and the video voice still claimed they stay together for their ability to produce offpsring together... humans are such cynics, god damn
They look so cute when they're "dabbling" and I can't help but giggle when I see them doing that.
Me too! I love seeing it in nature!
My city has a resident population of trumpeter swans. They’re gorgeous but territorial as hell, they sometimes chase people, and they sometimes pick on smaller birds like ducks.
If I were a swan, I'd probably chase people, to be fair.
Wow, you're lucky to have those beautiful birds! Although they sound like pests. What city are you in?
There is a common myth that swans are strong enough to break human arms. This isn't true because their hollow bones are quite a bit weaker than ours, but they are extremely powerful for their weight. They are some proper dinosaurs for sure
Knowing my luck a swan would push me over and I'd break my arm from falling.
@@AnimalFactFiles lol, big feel
Swans are just beautiful,so gracious and proud looking ,I’ve got a real soft spot for them ,don’t see them on our lake anymore sadly
They are absolutely stunning. That's really too bad they don't visit your lake! What a shame =(
:)
What lake was that?
My neighbor had a mute swan staying in his yard for a few months. That swan was very friendly and you were able to get close to pet him.
Very interesting! I love learning new things. Thank you for sharing. Love you.
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Thank you 💚
swans are the hippos of waterfowl
That Coscoroba swan looks like a goose.
Someone once tried to put swans in a fountain for a party - but it backfired when they found that whatever it was that was coloring the water blue was fatal to the swans!
That's horrible and people are just ignorant!
Subscribed, cheers (y)

Beautiful 💖 hans raaj.Most beautiful 💗 video.
It just shows you don't understand these animals are territorial and more important because they keep our rivers and lakes clean and stop the over population of other spices that cause damage to the environment including stupid people 🙏🌈🦋🕊🐝🗣
Theses birds 🦢 are very common in the state of Washington, primarily Seattle.
They sound like Ichthyornis and geosternbergia from Disney's dinosaur
Some ducks are almost completely white also.
Yes especially domestic ducks!
Plz do a cookie cutter shark 🦈
Mostly swans are milky whitest...❤🙏
The Swan the meanest bird to live
Meaner than geese?
MarvAlice yes
Elizabeth Frantes yep
Well just look at the evil %$&@# that owns them all.
Beautiful birds, but, as has been mentioned, not very friendly to other species, or to humans.
Thanks for the video!
@Elizabeth Frantes That is a wonderful moment. Thanks for sharing.
