Never use box cutters. No salt water. Smooth floor put when 2 inches deep. Do the treatment and let it run 10 min. l am glad I watched this. I’m going to do an unboxing of this product. I can’t wait for mine to come. Thanks for sharing!

This will be my 3rd Softub! I absolutely love them!! The last one is 15 years old and still works great! I am getting a new one for the larger size.

I also am on my third Softub first one was analog, second was a 220 and now I have a 300.
If your board takes a dump their warranty is worthless and maybe in 6 months they can fix it.
You will be on your own.
There is a fix on the net, you need 2 10uf 25V radial caps to fix it.
Or you can send it to the factory and wait 6 months.
Evergreen Softub the place I bought it from said "six months will fly by".
I decided I didn't need an overpriced horse trough and voided my warranty to fix it.
I will never buy another Softub, they are great tubs but if you have a problem don't expect any help from Softub.

At 5:03 the instructions say to flatten out the wrinkles after you add 2 inches of water. I followed this step, and found that I could not get several of the longer wrinkles out because the liner was pulled away from the sides. The weight of the water made it impossible to correct this, so I siphoned our as much water as I could, pulled the liner closer to the sides, and started over. It probably would be a good idea to make sure the liner was a close to the sides as possible before adding water and doing the "wrinkle ironing," and I think this should be mentioned in the installation instructions.

This will be my 4th Tub. Bought right after the Company started in Ca. Even got a tour of the mfg back in 1986. Nice setup. I agree that getting the "wrinkles " out is a real pain. I gave up and it didn't matter. I use a tub pillow anyhow so the wrinkles were not an issue. Also I set my on rubber mats from Harbor Freight to keep it off the ground. Adds a layer if protection from the critters getting in the liner.

Update: Please make sure your receptacle is located at least 6' from the inside wall of your Softub. The 2020 National Electrical Code considers these "Storable Spas" so 680.34 mandates this distance. In all fairness, it used to be 5' but that changed. I serve on Code Making Panel 17 for the National Electrical Code so just wanted to make that clear.

You just have to pull it. In colder temps it can be more difficult since it’s plastic. If you are still struggling can call our service department at 800-711-5382. I hope this helps.

Why can’t you use soft water ?
Typically it’s better to use soft water in hot tubs?

Soft water causes low calcium, and low calcium causes corrosion inside the unit. I hope this information helped.
