She is a terrible person. She’s from San Antonio, TX. Her stage name is her mothers maiden name. I was aiming to become a writer and designer for the industry. I recommend her as an actress. I have a small network in the industry, so why not. Long story short. She thought I wanted to replace her? She involve my bf into burying me in Texas or to never move back to LA. Who knows what she was thinking. She’s a moron.
@@thecinemarag hmmmm maybe it’s the range of films she wants to do, she can be possibly be picky when it comes to roles, I wouldn’t say that this is normal. But also most of her movies go into streaming, I mean look at the last few she has done and where they’ve gone to. Blonde 2022, Netflix Deep Water 2022, Hulu Knives Out 2019, Netflix Ghosted 2023, Apple TV The Gray Man 2022, Netflix Her last movie that came out in theaters is a film called “The Informer” which got mixed reviews but not entirely bad. So I’m guessing the movies that she does that goes to streaming is limiting her range throughout with the audience.
She got an Oscar nom for a very poorly received movie and Ballerina has a chance to succeed financially. A-list doesn't have the same meaning as decades ago, but she's doing well so far and pretty close to modern version of A-list. And she's stunning of course.
Being A-list and having a successful career are two different things. I completely disagree with almost everything you said. And given you said that "Hollywood is cruel to women a couple sentences after saying its easier for beautiful women" indicates you might not 'exactly' understand the industry. Hollywood reminds those actresses that they are not "that" beautiful, and they are easily replaced, and have been replaced often. Based on the niche of movies shes in (the audience that consumes those films), she'll do fine, as she is the type of Ethnic that is "accepted and palatable" by that fan base. Then again what would you consider "A-List".
We need another Scarlett. I love Scarlett in Girl with a Pearl Earring, that movie cemented her in my mind as not just a pretty face but a great actress. I notice Hollywood is not producing many actors with both beauty AND talent these days, which is concerning.
Ana de Armas has more range than you think, hence, her Oscar-nominated performance in Blonde. She is mesmerizing in that role and does not mimic Monroe. She creates a character that transcends the story, as Oates' book is mostly a fictional version of Monroe's life. She has had some duds lately, but she can come back with more range besides romances. She should do more psychological or crime thrillers. She's been on the A-list and will remain on it for at least four more years, I hope for her sake.
Hollywood is filled with that which titillates you. You just can't whip it out as much anymore. She did OK in Blonde, well good enough to satisfy your viewing needs. I think Gregory has other things on his mind here.
That doesn’t make you A-list automatically. Case in point - Vanessa Kirby, Cynthia Erivo, Andrea Riseborough. Alicia Vikander won and she’s not A-list. Ana’s no where near Margot, Jen Lawrence or Emma Stone level and they are legit A-listers.
Please make a video called "Why hollywood actors shouldn't do franchises" + also reason WHY being a franchise actor is DIFFERENT being a contemporay actor in critically acclaimed original films helmed by auteurs. And How very few actors are actually successful at both
Use Timothee & Tom Holland as your base example. Connect the dots between Timothee and Leonardo DiCaprio (but just because Timothee did an entire decade with Leo's Strategy, doing no franchise films DOES NOT make Timmy the next Leo). Then.... Ask yourself why is Tom Cruise an exemption? (because he did successful non-franchise films too) And if the comments rebel on you (& me). show them the difference between Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling, show the case of Brenden Fraser, and then show them how successful Tom Holland's non-franchise films are in comparison to Timothee Chalamet. (P.S - I don't consider "Part" trilogies franchises, because "Godfather Series" and "Dune Series" were helmed by Auteurs, would you call every franchise filmmaker an "auteur"? of Course not. does your favourite unoriginal franchise film deserve an oscar?) By the way I love franchise films, I just spot the differnce

Ana de Armas is too old for Leonardo DiCaprio and the like to make a power 🔋 couple age 35. As you said, another Latina but within the China 🇨🇳 Japan 🇯🇵 Leonardo DiCaprio wall 🧱 will replace de Armas. She has limited range for roles.
He has a huge point, I don’t see soo many actresses that were on the same level as their male counterparts in 90s and early 2000s where as the men are still making movies. Mark my words Sydney Sweeney will be the next Alexandra Dedario except I think Alexandra is a much better actress, she literally plays kinda the same role and her looks are her main draw. She’s super smart though academically I read but her acting skills have no range.
@@cryptojihadi265 Unlike him and probably you I have a meaningful job and career in education, living in reality and having a youtube channel is usually an oxymoron
The thing about Ana is that she does not give a damnn about being A-list, on the contrary she has said that she does not like to deal with fame that much and prefers a low profile. She even moved to a different city so she could have more privacy. And it seems she hated not having it while being with Ben Affleck. Now she has a relationship with a successful guy that does not have addictions and you can tell she is very happy with her life
I completely disagree she is starring in Ballerina. She is a good actress with a great range from comedy to action. She already is an A list in my opinion
I’m going to disagree with you on this entire video. She’s done a lot of varied roles. Yes, she’s gorgeous, but that’s not all there is to her. Fact is, she has a successful career because you know who she is. She’s not “old” by any stretch. I think Ballerina has a lot of potential for her. She’s going to be just fine. Her “worst” is your never was. Besides, what the hell does A-Lister even mean in Hollyweird anymore. It has no value.

She’s my number 1 celebrity crush.
She’s a very beautiful woman and is a talented actress, no reason she wouldn’t be a A List actress
But she isn't one now. So what is stopping her?

@@thecinemarag I'd say her accent and nationality. There is a lot of racism in Hollywood, unfortunately
She's literally one of the most famous women in the entire world, she's already A list, not that the term has much relevance with Hollywood nowadays
She is A list to me already, I will see her in anything
That’s what I was thinking. She already seems in “It girl” territory. He’s right about the age issue, though.

I like her in Blad Runner 2049. She eclipse Rayn Gosling boring carácter.
She’s the type that should get married to a nice guy and have a couple of kids and have a nice life. Definitely not a match with Big Ben Affleck.
I know, right.
She's for the streets

She stole the show in Blade Runner 2049. But I agree with your assessment. Middling career is her destiny.

Well having a click bait title is one way to get views.
