This is certainly the nearest you can get to the correct answer. I did it for 59 which came to 7.7 (the calculator said 7.68 but if you're going to round up it will be)
Ur question is correct. As this is approximation trick you should always take the nearest perfect quarter for calculation for the closer answer. 100 is more closer to 97 than 81 then form ur equation with 100. I hope that clarifies your doubt.

Thanks sir very good trick
Thank you sir
Why don't you use minus rather then plus in the beginning of the square root of non perfect SR..
Dear, whether to use + or - depends on non perfect square number for which you want to find sq root, is "close" to which perfect square number.
Thanks! You cant do the root of a number in Minecraft so I use this trick to get the hypotenuse.
X+Z^2/(2*X)
Which is do-able in Minecraft.
thanks
Super math
👍👍

not (s)even but inequal = (s)even
can u give a short formula for finding cube root of non perfect cube numbers
Sure.. I will try to post video on the same
√97 = √81+16
=√81 + 16÷2×√81
=9+16÷18
=89÷9
=9.89
Is it wrong ?
