Ok, so I have not watched Friends episodes entirely, I have binge watched these clips from TBS/Friends/Comedy Central but this is the last one I will ever watch. I for 1)did not like it that they placed a Ganesha idol on a coffee table like that 2)am angered that the developers/writers/directors of this content had the audacity to show her foot pushing the idol to the floor. What if in an Indian sit com you find the same thing happening to the statue of Jesus? This is so disrespectful of the maker of this show,.they should have done some thorough research before actually portraying the idol of Lord Ganesha ...they should've known that the thing she broke by kicking it with her leg is actually a Hindu God ...this was so disrespectful and so unacceptable from this show...no matter even if it's my the most fav one still that just wont change the fact that our Hindu God's idol has been used for this stupid scene
What if we did the same thing with an idol of Lord Jesus ...how can this be not opposed by anyone when this episode first got aired? ..I'm sure people would have shown their disappointment and disagreement....

Yes it’s very disrespectful, wish they could delete it but it’s a 90s sitcom where everything wasn’t culturally or politically correct. They would have to go down the rabbit hole of all the 90s sitcoms… that was pretty much the humor back in those days.
