they are becoming very sort after the early commodores with the VK & VL at the top of the food chain, its great that people are restoring them as their part of our motoring history especially the 5lt Holden V8's
Not sure of your plans for rims but I’m pretty sure I have a set of original pursuit rims under the old mans house. 4, maybe 5? Yours if you want them. 👍

Hello how's the car coming along .? Need more videos u shud do the whole rebuild on video or pics... I'm interested how it goes. my 1st car was a vh slx 202 blue motor now I own a 2006 ve calais thats currently getting the motor rebuilt
Very nice! I had a VX Calais back in the day, I guess it comes full circle. Working on the next video, wanting it to be better quality than this first one. Car is at the rust repairer now and will include some footage of the progress.
@@ConicuAutomotive I've been wanting to do something similar for a long time. Ide probs have to go VH only kos im familiar with them and would have to be 308...when I think about all the old model commodore's I used to own years ago some were towed away to wreckers for nothing more than no rego and laziness wish I had them now even the old Gemini's were awesome I've still got a load of Gemini parts in my mums shed lol. Can't wait to see how your VC goes so good to see your doing it all properly. its a bloody expensive thing to do restoring cars but I bet the end result satisfaction will be totally worth it.. whats your plans for the car.. stock or some custom set up..?

Hey mate, $2000 for the blast and $1000 for the epoxy. Well worth it, some will think it was too much but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out
