Hundreds of DMX universes but that#s no problem for the MADRIX software.

No. MADRIX start enables 512 channels output. In this video you can see a LED installation using a MADRIX ultimate which supports up to 256 * 512 channels output. Each RGB light needs 3 channels. Depending on the amount of RGB lights you would need a MADRIX start, entry, basic, professional or ultimate key.
That really depends on the amount of LEDs (RGB pixels) you wish to control.

This is LED lighting plus some reflections. So, no, it is not CG.
This was filmed before the installation of the club was complete. Maybe what you are seeing is plastic bags covering some equipment that was stored in the tunnel during construction. Everything else is just a reflection of the LED's on the black gloss paint. Definitely not CG
I thought the fog was being produced by the setup aswell. Looking closer, it's just reflections from the LEDs.
