Loved this video Captain! PSU football games are an amazing experience, and I was once one those kids in the student section - back in my day, the upperclassmen sat around 40 yard line, now all the students are in the endzone to maybe the 10 yard line. Here's a fun fact: on game days, Beaver Stadium itself becomes the third largest city in PA.
Cap’n, you captured the spirit of a Penn State football game before, during, and after very nicely. The post-game traffic is a nightmare. That’s the one negative being in that area of the state. Nice to see Singleton - a Berks County guy - making the big screen.
Great video Mr. The Philly Capt. You brought us inside the tailgate experience at Penn St. Football something that i will probably not get to do but maybe we just did? Thank You
As a WVU fan, I have to say that this is the first time I have sat and watched an entire PSU video.... Funniest part, "It's almost a white out" says the guy in the blue shirt 🤣🤣🤣 great video man and that game footage was better than TV! Awesome job
College football experience is just nuts. Nothing like it in the US. Only thing that might be similar is a Soccer Game oversees. They have some passionate fans. Awesome video
I can not believe you have never been to a game at Beaver Stadium. One of the best sports experiences ever! I saw my first game there in 1994 and it never gets old.
My Dad use to have PSU season tickets. Got to experience tailgating throughout the years and several expansions of Beaver Stadium. Definitely something you need experience at least once.
It looked like a scene from Field of Dreams watching the cars make their way down a winding road with their headlights on toward the end of your video. Great video, great atmosphere, and truly a great location - loved the mountains as well.
I'm a Penn St. alumni and it's been some years since I've been to a game because I live in Thailand but it was wonderful to experience again through your camera and commentary. Thank you!
Happy Labor Day PHILLY CAPTAIN..Great weekend video in upper Pa of the Penn State football game and the entire area..Way to GO PSU..Enjoy & have a good one.
I've been there a bunch of times and it's a different experience when there is a Noon kickoff. It's like an extended Saturday morning brunch. I haven't been there since 2016 but the prices to park seem to have skyrocketed. I don't remember paying 80 bucks but then the price of parking was included in the ticket package I bought the last time I was there.
Awesome video, Cap! I am not an alum, but have been to a few games in Happy Valley with family that had a ticket plan. It is such an amazing experience that like you said, any sports fan should experience! We Are!!!!
And the Sunday following a football game up in state college the students are split between their nfl teams .. eagles, Steelers, Giants etc. ... It can get rowdy in town
I went to a Penn State satellite campus.. my older brother went to school up there and worked at a diner and got me some of the players autographs years ago... I live about two hours from there now and I need to get out there for a game... Love the atmosphere for tailgating and I miss the saloon, a bar in State college, you get monkey boys, which is a pitcher full of liquor!! 😂... Great memories of going out there to see my brother and friends...WE ARE PSU!!!
Shame seeing the captain root against my team for once, massive Philly fan but also a Mountaineers fan, it was a good game for the most part, congrats on the win cap!
Pretty impressive that your boy in the white shirt made it to the final whistle. That man was cooked from the tailgate before even entering the stadium lol
Good comparison CP. I think it’s the cohesion of fans. PSU and Phillies Red October games. When all fans are on one page. The sum is greater than the whole.
"Country Roads"....THE Shenandoah Valley...IN....Virginia!! Beautiful country....and we have teeth too! However, teeth are OPTIONAL in WEST "By God" Virginia. (Welcome to Wonderful, Weird, West Virginia...Where teeth are optional!)
Always plan to party AFTER the game!! No hassle with traffic. Just sleep it off......they don't care if you drive out on Sunday morning. After midnight...it's ALL Sunday morning anyway....just wait till the light in the sky is turned on. Never have to worry about a DUI...and The Original Waffle Shop is the best breakfast ever!
The Cocktagon? That made me laugh out loud.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO THANKS CAPTAIN
WVU fan here, enjoyed your stream. I wish it went better for us but I wasn’t expecting a win. You guys are a really good team.

It’s always a fun time. Such a chill tailgate and everybody is so nice
You got some good shots boss glad you had a good time
HHH (on-on) is in the background at 3:05, a drinking club with a running problem. Hash House Harriers Philadelphia's chapter is legendary.

The atmosphere is 10x better when it is a big game at night! Seriously insane!

It was a very lively game. Great video Captain 🇬🇧

I learned a few years ago to book a hotel for 2 days not one. Leave Sunday not Saturday. Besides the bars after a win are great!
William Penn would probably think it pretty cool to see his name at the heart of all of this 👍
Your buddies are hammered hahaha
That Penn state game was awesome.. you should come here in Buffalo for a Bills game.. we won't let ya down when it comes to tailgates
Awesome video, Cap! I am not an alum, but have been to a few games in Happy Valley with family that had a ticket plan. It is such an amazing experience that like you said, any sports fan should experience! We Are!!!!
PENN STATE!
I am a Ohio State / West Virginia fan and I got tickets to the OSU vs PSU game at the Shoe and I am so happy
And the Sunday following a football game up in state college the students are split between their nfl teams .. eagles, Steelers, Giants etc. ... It can get rowdy in town

You are everywhere!!
Great video I was there it was a great game
I subed cuz of the cocktagon I have been laughting for more than a couple of minutes straight after I heard that It's just to good
Took two hours to get out of the parking lot and then we were sent the opposite direction from where we needed to go. Crazy.
Good comparison CP. I think it’s the cohesion of fans. PSU and Phillies Red October games. When all fans are on one page. The sum is greater than the whole.
"The Cocktagon" LMAO
3k to park? Damn. Thank God for cable
Great cover
They really need to fix the beer line situation because I pretty much missed the entire first half for 2 miller lites
Wow great views thanks cap
WE 💪🏈💪

Nipples!! I got De ja vue from a past video of yours!!!
You need to get out of Philly more often.
In the last 30 days I've been to Florida Pittsburgh and Penn state. I get out enough
@@ThePhillyCaptain Oh wow Florida and Pittsburgh that one time you went west of 69th Street. I mean you were dumbfounded by mountains and trees.
We are Penn state class of 91

Is it still more fun in 301? LOL.
Go to a White Out game. Oh, and bring earplugs.
Another fun fact about Country Roads. It was written while driving along a road in Maryland.
Another fun fact. The coach of Penn State is a Washington State University alumni. RIP PAC 12
What kind of fact is that? Penn State's coach is James Franklin, he played football at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania.
And went to Neshaminy High school.
And has a master's degree from Washington State
@@jknaus23 the Philly captain is full of fun facts! Just one from eastern Washington
Fsu! Fsu! Cue war chant
Nice take gate and video. But come down south to Athens Georgia. Great tailgates and home of back 2 back National champs.
So, a bunch of drunk middle aged men being obnoxious is the game environment 😆👍
WEE ARE SANDUSKY ! WE ARE SANDUSKY !
Say hi To Sandusky ! Fk Penn St. I love the videos ! ty
