On a cool March afternoon, PNWR 3004 (EMD GP40) plays the PNWR Hillsboro Switcher as they navigate through the Hillsboro Wye to head to Mahan siding, where it picks up a refrigerator car. Then it heads down to the Forest Grove district to continue its job.

Remember that they used to travel north of Cornelius & Forrest Grove. But not anymore, they’ll be tearing up the Tracks, getting rid of Railroad Crossings. To make way for a Hiking Trails & to Grade Separate One Pedestrian Crossing to flyover Highway 47. In order to Keep Out of Trouble for Hit in Run.
I just saw the 3003 doing switch jobs in the Albany Yard a few days ago (06-22-2016). It was recently repainted Orange and black .
This is cool! I love 3004's horn.
Nice video! I love looking at switchers doing their work!
Emanuel Arrellin In Ca. We don't see much switching.
Do you know how often and when trains run on this line? I know this was filmed in 2008.
