Paige is an amazing human being. Hats off to the parents who raised her. She a "star" to lots of people, but like so many UCONN players (the men and women's team), she is loved by her fans here in CT. She's not interested in being a Caitlin Clark. Paige is a team player and that's the UCONN way. As someone recently said about our men's team, you really can't say who the best player is. That is because UCONN achieves its' greatness because it uses a team player approach - every player must participate and do their part. Yes, we have amazing standouts like Paige, but she's a team player to the core. She's modest and kind and a wonderful young lady athlete. That's why she and all the other players on the team are so loved in CT!
Everything you’ve said about Paige is true. But Caitlin is a fine young woman, too. Her situation with Iowa turned out to be different than Paige’s with the Huskies. Both of them are grateful for their fans.
Everyone, appreciate Paige, she is truly an iconic figure and a role model for generations of girls to come. A great basketball player and what makes her so special is 'who she is'.
After the UConn vs, University of Minnesota game in her home town last November, Paige came to the huge crowd of her fans waiting for her at the stadium. She spend a huge amount of time signing autographs and taking selfies for them. She keep dong this until the UConn team bus was about to leave. What a kind and generous person. UConn couldn't have a better person representing them.
0:37 She is grateful for her fan support. She respects her coaches and loves her teammates. Oh yeah, she is a great all-around player too. I like that KK, Ash, Q , Ice and the incoming freshmen will get another year with her. She's kind of like TSWIFT
Amazing young lady.. Always find time to take pictures and sign autographs for her young fans. These kids will never forget the experience they had. Maybe one of these young ladies will become a husky one day because of her..
Paige is just a great person yes she is raised right but we are going to debate that is why she is great . I’m not going to listen to people try to say anything I want to say God Bless you Paige be great!!!
Thank you so much for your comment. It was pretty much all evening. We had a great time. I was extremely impressed with how approachable Paige was and how she went out of her way to make all of her fans happy even after they tried to pull her away constantly. That is probably one of the reasons everyone loves her so much. My son was just as excited as my daughter to meet her! It's athletes and representatives like her that only helps grow women's sports.
@@Tackett_Basketball nice to hear your son was excited to meet her. There’s definitely charisma in how she plays. And Aaliyah and Nika et al are fun players to watch
Yes, she did! The outside part of the video is long after the game had ended and she tried to get to as many people as possible. It was truly unbelievable how she handled it. Security/Police had a barrier set up near the team bus. She literally emerged from the shadows walking next to the bus and approached the crowd that all started cheering and applauding. She nonchalantly walked to one side of the group and started signing and taking pictures. This was not her first "Rodeo". I was amazed at how much time she took after the game and then again hours after the game (which was a road game) making lifetime memories for so many fans.
I'm sure Paige is a nice person and a good basketball player (never seen her play), and due to the latter something of a public personality -- still it is a bit absurd that the Wikipedia page on her contains nearly 10k words, and has almost 200 references
Paige has already suffered two serious knee injuries -- it is worth noting: epidemiological research shows young female athletes are many times more likely than young male athletes to suffer serious knee injuries -- this is because their joints are not as robust, and regarding the knee joint specifically, their quadriceps and hamstrings, the big muscles of the upper leg that stabilize the knee joint, are not as strong is in males -- the stress of sports like basketball and soccer is too much for the knees of many young women -- their bodies were simply not made for it -- in the hunter/gatherer phase of human evolution, females were the gatherers and males were the hunters -- think about it ...

You should imitate her then and not take untrue and unwarranted shots at another woman who exhibits the same traits.
Shame
Has anyone ever said Paige wants to be a Caitlyn Clark?
Has Paige said it?
Then why are you?

Paige remembers going to Minnesota Lynx games as a kid and waiting for an autograph from Maya Moore. She’s paying it on.

This phenomenon followed her throughout her high school years at Hopkins. Patience and grace.@@Tackett_Basketball
@@Tackett_Basketball yeah, the fact that is was a road game makes it more impressive.
Wow she spent more time with autographs and pics than playing :) - great for her fans.
Facts
Some folks DEMANDING Paige come to them.
So what if you're in a group!

Some other players would think they are too big for signing and pic😢
