The quality of your videos is always on par with the quality of the projects. The builders must be proud to have their work displayed by the Cafe Racer channel. Excellent as always.
Building a cafe racer is in it's essence making a custom styled race bike that you will like to ride and the logic for cafe racer people was originally to lighten and make their bikes more powerful with what they had available. So today using carbon fiber rims, drive by wire tech or any new things that didn't exist before is totally OK, I mean this is your bike, do what you want, what ever other people think is their problem as long as you are happy and the bike puts a smile on your face every time you see or ride it.
Volker, that bike is just gorgeous. I have a CB 750 K on my garage and couldn't decide on what to do with it. Suddenly all my doubts cleared away. I'm sure I won't be able to replicate the workmanship but I will definitely try. I have a couple of questions though. Where is the battery located? Under the swing arm? Where did you get the seat from, where did you get the shorter top tube of the suspension and finally, where did you get the exhaust from.
Ok, after a more thorough investigation, I found out almost all the answer to my questions. Wish I could do all the work myself but changing the fuel tank will not be easy.
I have to admit, what first drew me to your videos is your unique and amazing voice. But the projects you choose to highlight are in general, outstanding. Your visual production is absolutely brilliant. Love the channel. Love the projects.
My "vote" is for the Evil Crow. Of the many Racer TV videos I've enjoyed, this is the first one where I disagree with one of your comments. The statement that the Comstars are of a certain era and don't lend themselves aesthetically for use with the inverted forks, applies more true to spoked wheels paired with inverted forks. IMHO, THAT combination is more suited for use on dirtbikes. Using the same logic, the inverted forks are closer in time to the more modern engine and Comstar wheels of the Evil Crow than the older engine and spoked wheels of the Wolf.
Definitely The Wolf is the bike that made my heart beat faster. Not that The Crow was a bad project, on the contrary, it's great. But the menacing appearance of The Wolf and the inverted front suspension create a retro and futuristic look, like a motorbike departing from the city created by Fritz Lang: Metropolis, A motorcycle of a modern world, but aesthetically old, like walking through that neighborhood of Mexico City built almost entirely in Art Deco buildings, what was modern in 1920-30 is classic today. I like everything, because one of the ideas I have for my Suzuki - GS 650 L - 1982 is an inverted suspension. The color will of course be black. A lot of inspiration to take into account. Excellent projects, great video
The CB750E. Can be built up too, a 1000cc. My husband had a 1970, built into an 836cc on a Denver chopper frame/ hardtail. Man that bike would move out! You could do a 130 in a heartbeat.
Caro amigo, boa noite! A Honda 750 é, para mim, um icone. Assim, qualquer projeto baseado nela me interessa.
Great video as always and a good explanation of the component choice rational. Personally I think the comstars are ugly and spoil any project. In the 80's I raced Yamaha TZ350's and always used Astralight wheels. Similar construction to comstars but much neater with cleaner lines and all alluminium parts so nearly as light as Dymags at a fraction of the price but I've never seen them on a cafe racer except for a friends Laverda Jota
Surprisingly, I like the complication of the DOHC lines on the engine, but probably because it's painted black, making it more stealth. Amazing bikes, I'd like to hear their scream...
uma mistura do moderno com o clássico, faz lembrar do romeu e julieta (doce de uva com queijo ricota), uma combinação excelente e um delicioso sabor...apenas uma metáfora, mas o sentido da combinação é magnifica.
ive been thinking abt what i can do with my brixton cafe racer.1.performance:i will have to change the ecu.2.looks:changing the seat to single seater with hump.but the problem is the seat is long at 64cm.if i change to shorter ones i will have to custom the frame
I prefer the wolf stance, lower in the front, minor detail that picture of the k7 is not a k7 Prefer the look of the single Cam motor. My friend Benny's brother got one of the first k0 ever delivered, how exciting when we were young
I really want to have a cafe racer. aside from classic looks, it also fits to my height because I'm only 5'3. I wish I could have one of those. I heard from other fans of cafe racer that this fike is kind of pricy and I don't have money to buy one.
Boas, precisava da tua ajuda. Gostava de modificar eu mesmo uma CG 125 de 2002. Sabes me dizer um bom site para comprar as peças? Tipo, retrovisores, bancos, etc. Se quiseres manda mp. Cumprimentos
Has anyone heard of a brand called Dong Fang coming out of China? The company is producing 250cc Cafe racer's for $1700 (in US currency). Just wanting to know if it's worth the price...
hello friend you may not know me but i know you,iam building cafe racer honda cgi 125cc its a copy of it made in china where i live iam strugling with some ideas please post some more small cafe racers thank you and much love from Serbia
Thank you, but Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real American voice in one of my videos, but things didn't work as I expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non-English natives. Cheers.

You like to sound momentous, but you should learn to temper your enthusiasm with authenticity. There is an old saying in English "you cannot turn a sow's ear into a silk purse". These bikes were utter pieces of crap to ride and always will be. It appears that you, also, will always be unable to appreciate what a motorbike is about, no matter how highly you evaluate your opinions on shallow styling.
Thomas Elliott , if you talk like that about one of the most iconic motorcycle ever created then you are an ignorant, arrogant moron that don’t even deserve an answer!!!
@Nero Kasso Wow! So viagra is your cure for riding the greatest piece of crap on the road. I guess you would need it after the awful experience of riding this crap.

5:56 that rear part of seat on wolf looks just wow and the feathers of Crow
It's always nice to listen to some technicalities that affects decisions and outcomes.

Onde fica a bateria da moto ?
I like it
How can I get one of these?
Qual o nome da música de fundo?
Where they kept the battery ?
Inside a small black box located under the swing arm axle. Cheers.
Some Modern retros are made by our own jhon wick actor...Try some of those
I'll take wolf spookked rims with blacked out engine then perfect my opinion

The voice is ok. I have been wondering about the origin and now I know.
Besides, it’s the bikes that should be in focus - not the narration.
Quá đẹp❤️
