Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I had no luck for so long trying to find a tutorial on this. I may have been searching the wrong search term but thank you!

It is difficult to find anything on this. I’m sure there’s other ways but thought I’d share what I’ve done and seemed to work. Thank you for watching!

Thanks for showing us, if I wanted to make a very wide band ring set with small oval cabachon would I use the same method?

Hi there! Yes, you could still use this method for sure.

I’m trying to make a one in thick band with stones that are about an inch by inch. Same method?

how about when you add the stone if its not inserted into a flat bottomed bezel?

You would have to create a little ledge inside in order to make a flat surface for the stone.

What type of mandrel is this?

Hi Virginia, it’s a cast iron stepped oval bracelet mandrel that I purchased from RioGrande.

Hello Amuck. Greetings from Peru. I love your style 👍🏽 One question: what is the thickness of your bezel? Thank you 🤟🏽

Hello! Thank you, I used 24 gauge on this one but then I’ll take a bur to the inside and thin the area that will be pushed over the stone.
