I had to smile at the lady with the books . They were a quarter each times 33 equals $8.25 , then she asked $25.00 . You were kind giving her the $20.00 .
A sly buyer. Makes she think all the one in the basket. Then he thinking in his mind, he did say all, then starts loading them all because she took the money.
I think she did thank you meant for one box which at 50 cents each that one was not worth 50.00 it looked like there was about 50 in there so it would have 25.00 for 1 box. Anyway who got a deal
Because I was curious, I counted the CDs in that bin. Counted enough in that bin to equal a $45 payment at 10 CDs for $5.. he knew what he was doing. He got the WAY better deal by a wide margin.
Damn those Pro Pickers! They keep invading your turf. You and Dustin definitely need to have a West Side Story or Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo style street dance off to decided best Ohio picker/TH-camr.
Nice cd find. A couple of weeks ago we picked up 726 rock cds at one yard sale for 20 bucks. We get 3 each in our booth. He has approximately 5000 rock records. He wasnt quite ready to sell those yet but took our number. Lookin forward to that call.
I’ve been told by my local record and CD shop owner that once a bose breaks it’s pretty hard to fix. I have a wave system as well and it broke too. Tough product.
depending on the model, they will still usually sell decently for parts. have sold many with bad cd players and other issues. there's a lot of resellers on ebay with electronic repair knowledge who are buying them to fix up for resale. i guess depends how much you paid if it still works out in your favor
I found that Lionel train at thrift for $15 a few years back. I opened it and it was unused. Got $500 for it. When the guy didn't want to accept $20 for it I thought he'd counter at $50. Getting it for $30 is a good one.
Love the book set pickup even though she changed her price seemingly at the end. It seems like a lot of youtube resellers pass up on books and I'm always yelling at my computer "Wait! Go back!"
I bought a Thomas train set a couple weekends ago. When we (me and seller) started boxing it up she started pulling pieces and letting me this set only has one of these and one of these… I said “Let’s just roll back the whole thing and I’ll just take (the other thing I bought.) It’s weird out there sometimes
At the second sale with all of the books it looks like you may have missed the DribbleUp soccer ball in the box. Those are pretty cool if that was what was in the box. Usually a good pickup.
You came across some interesting sales. The first house was funny. Do you know what this is? No clue but I'll charge you 25 bucks for it. What? Lol. The book lady definitely tried to squeeze a few more bucks outta you or math isn't their strong suit. The cd lady may have been confused because at one point she stated you can pick and choose after you said 50 bucks for everything. Either way you had an interesting morning! Lol.
That's a great yard/garage sale day for you John.🎉😮 Really awkward when the lady asked for more money 💰 for the CDs.🤯🤔😞😢😩🤬 but alas you set her straight really quick.😳🤣😁 Love that Harry Potter Hogwarts Express Lionel Train it's really cool.😎 Take care buddy.👍🔥❤️💪👌
I would have said No I cannot give you any more money since we had made a deal. And now I don't care to buy any of it and walk off. Sorry that's just me. 😊
honestly from what I saw in the video it did kind of look like you were just talking about that one basket of cd's all that were in the basket, she let you off there by letting you have all the other ones
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I think she probably just misunderstood. $50 for just the one bin would have been a great sale for her though, she probably was super excited you made that offer. 😂
I’ve actually seen front door bells like that too! That’s bidenomics at work there, give a price than ask for more after the fact! All the cds means all the cds, you didn’t ask for just the one tote, she should’ve asked if she wasn’t sure what you wanted. Then 33 25 cent books comes out to $20! I only thought they were teaching that new math to the kids today! Lol
The lady with the cds was the confused one. You made a deal for all of them( waved your hands over all the bins), she even said there are more over there and pointed. Then she says ok. Then changes her mind and wants more money. You were so kind and straight forward. They were not selling. Why wouldnt you do a bulk deal? I thought it was more than fair. Awesome video! I think you can get more for that train set.
I feel like this lady knew exactly what the deal was and she tried to squeeze another 10 dollars out of you, anyone would be happy to get 50 bucks for a lot of cd's, she just shot her shot. If she really was confused about "all" or if she wasn't okay with the price for "all" then she wouldn't have said ok at the end
I had to smile at the lady with the books . They were a quarter each times 33 equals $8.25 , then she asked $25.00 . You were kind giving her the $20.00 .
"Make an offer -20- nuuuuuh" pisses me off every time 😤 just say your price then😤
@@panica961 never fails. They tell me to make an offer then they don’t like my offer 🤣
This!!
When they say make an offer just start at $0.10 and work your way up 10 cents at a time until they realize how ridiculous it is to not have prices

I’m glad u stuck to the $50 and made it clear to her what ALL means

If that were me with the CDs, I would’ve asked for my money back and then left
Really you should have renegotiated the cd’s. You bullied her into the price when it really was a misunderstanding.

I feel like $50 would’ve been more than she was asking for that bin per CD. Some people lol
No way, at her price point for 10 CDs for $5 I counted enough in that one laundry basket to equal $45 alone.
@ hence why I said for that bin lol she thought he said $50 for one bin which was more than it was if he just paid per cd
Shoulda grabbed those Tonka Toys
Very weird it happened to you twice

I’ve been doing this for 20 years, I’ve seen so many strange things. I just roll with it. Appreciate you watching, Chris!
@@cincinnatipickergreat job, hard to do. That first Lady saying 25$ I think was the worst 😂, not like a bad thing but hard to respond to.
i was the first person at the sale with the books and bose radios. took a chance on one of the wave radios but it had alot of problems.

Nice pickups John. Getting a bit cooler out there so indoor sales to be had soon. Be safe
Should have given her the $10. Both of you confused and you still took advantage.
How does one put a price on something when they don't know what it is?😮

Do you pick up any roleplaying games or board games and such, or do they not sell well?
I rarely find them cheap enough to flip for a profit
What was the red helmet in the bin at the end of the video?
Did she say "lumberburger" basket??

Howmany cds did you end up getting?
