    That plant is pretty neat and organized and maintained. Some of the older planes are not fun walking into and seeing leaks everywhere

      @JumpermanTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. This plant is very nicely kept and well done. I hear you with walking into older messy plants. Leaks and torn insulation lol death traps. Thanks for watching! I appreciate your feedback. Stay safe out there & stay tuned for new videos!

      More like mechanical eye candy. And everything being so clean and shiny added to it.

    Wonderful video! Can't thank you enough! Why are plate and frame heat exchangers used here? Why not direct connection? Your answer would be deeply appreciated.

    That’s awesome what is a unit like that controlling...............

    • @JumpermanTech
      @JumpermanTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      These units chill water to usually around 45 degrees and they are sent to air conditioning air handler units. The AC unit would have a coil that has the chilled water circulated and a fan blowing across to provide air conditioning. The condenser is water cooled and connected to a cooling tower located outside usually on a roof rejecting heat. This would be considered an indirect system. You see them alot in New York in Residential buildings and hotels. This setup is actually for a college building. Stay tuned for new videos every week and stay safe out there!

    Awesome video! Can you do one in the future explaining the various systems or maybe just turn off the music and voice over this one?

    • @JumpermanTech
      @JumpermanTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you! That's great advice. I added music because it was beyond noisy in there. I should learn to do a voice over so the audio is clear and not distracting with background noise. I work mostly on commercial equipment as a service tech but every now and then I'm around chillers. I will make a video like the one you requested for. If you have other ideas, Id love to hear them. I'm more than glad to help out and it also helps me get my viewers the quality material/knowledge they seek. Stay tuned for new videos every week and stay safe out there!

    Was this plant in the basement of a building or was it a mechanical penthouse?

    that poor air compressor... lack of oil I suppose...

    • @JumpermanTech
      @JumpermanTech  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm thinking lack of maintenance. Lack of oil due to poor or no maintenance sounds about right. RIP LOL I appreciate the feedback. Stay tuned for new videos every week and stay safe out there!
