Been watching Bill Dance ever since I was old enough to remember watching tv and I am almost 47 now. He is a Living Fishing Legend. I never get tired of the Pro's like Bill. I want to thank you Bill Dance for what you do for the sport of fishing. Especially what you have done for the catfish in Tennessee.
I've caught the same large mouth bass for 7 years (could tell by the scarring it had in its head and back from a boat prop). It was always like seeing an old friend Everytime I caught him.
Q&A. Reelfoot has been designated a Signature Lake. Is there hope that you and your team can bring implementation of Asian carp control measures. Thank you Bill for your continued efforts in maintaining and improving Tennessee fisheries.
Love Mr Bill but i have to disagree with a 8 ratio reel and being able to slow down especially to a 6 ratio reel retrieve its not happening. A 7 ratio reel is a more versitile ratio. I dont even use a standard size 8 ratio for anything but i also dont even look at ratio because that doesnt matter. Inches per turn is what matters. Some 8 ratio reels are taking in the same amount of line as a 7 ratio. Spool size (reel size) can change what inches per turn each reel has so one 7.1:1 ratio may bring in more line than another will. Also would never use a quantum reel 😂. Sorry Mr Bill but i dont use reels thats failed me multiple times, i move on to a different brand lol.
@jimbob4859 nope not even close lol. 6 ratio is best for shallow cranks and slower retrieves. 5 to 6 ratio is good for deep cranking. 7 ratio is the most versatile you can use across the board with almost anything you want to throw. 8 ratio is good when you need to take up a lot of line quickly or want to cover water quickly while flipping. I don't use a 8 ratio standard reel as a 7 ratio is plenty fast enough imo. And I've never owned a 9 or 10 ratio lol.
Great show as always, Bill! 🐐

I've caught the same bass out of a pond 3 times, and the same catfish like 5 times
@@haroldsfishingadventures754that’s still cool. But catching the same bass out of a lake for 7 years is insane @thoroughly_wet

Was that Tx rig or drop shot?
Texas rig with a 2/0 off set worm hook and a light weight. Looks like a zoom trick worm he's fishing I missed when he said what worm he was fishing.

love bass fishing, hate bass masters. users of forward facing sonar are lower than carp dung.
Tournaments 'with', tournaments 'without'. 🐟👍

3.2:1 is plenty fast enough.
