A few years ago I took a girl I was seeing to one of Christina's shows (she killed) and as soon as she walked on stage, the girl turned to me and said "oh wow, she's actually really thin!" She brought it up afterwards, and I asked her why that was so surprising to her. She said that every time I showed her the podcast, Christina would always wear big sweaters and baggy clothes, so she just assumed she was fat. That stuck with me, and every time I see Christina standing up now, I always think "SEE, SHE'S NOT FAT, NICOLE."

I believe tagging "the great white..." to anything is a metaphor for a man's total and complete ambition in life. For some men it's a woman they craved more than any ever at a moment where their ambition is the highest. For others it can be a career milestone, like Elon going to Mars. It's like a century old metaphor that kinda got lost over time. Obviously, people don't fucking read anymore smh
