Always always so interesting, even when you don’t find what you THOUGHT was there. Great detective work. Thank you and I look forward to what you find later. Mary
There used to be a process (at least in England) for 'removing' a disabled/diseased person from the Community which involved making the person stand (sit or lie) in an open grave then reciting the 'Last Rites', eulogy and generally behaving as if they were dead. The grave would then be filled in and the community as a whole was absolved from having to care for them, which at the time was a Christian obligation. So, in England, it is not unheard of to find grave cuttings with no sign of a body or grave goods, usually in unhallowed ground. The roughly body length wooden beam may be a clue that something similar was done there, acting as a substitute body.
Thank you for your diligent work young man, you and your whole team. You will lose many of your viewers and monetary supporters if you keep plugging for your climate change /sea level rise beliefs. You show the island as it is in modern times in comparison with its landscaped state when the ambler family gave it over to the apva. Keep in mind that the grading of various sections of the island near the town & within the boundaries of the old city are very different today than they were 400 years ago or even a hundred years ago. I'm 52 years old young man and when I was a kid all of science so-called, and all of the media told us we were on the verge of a new ice age and that water levels were diminishing. You could Read All about It in Time magazine reader's digest popular science as they were all on the same bandwagon. Now ever since Buckethead rudder nosed leftist charlatan Al Gore told us that Manhattan was going to have 16 ft of water on its streets by 2020 that's all we hear: sea level rise, climate change blah blah blah. Keep your unfounded beliefs separate from your work young man

Even though this was not a burial, the work is still important.

Thank you
Please keep searching and digging.

there exists a possibility for a burial...in the meantime; it is only what it is.... and that is good.
