- SOLVED 6-Day-Old Missing Persons Case..(Abbie Marie Brandenburg) In this video we found Abbie Marie Brandenburg in her car submerged underwater. #solved #scubadiving #missingperson
About This Case:
26-year-old, Abigail Brandenburg went missing on May 5th, 2022. Her 2009 Ford Edge was last seen via a license plate reader on the bridge crossing over Lake Vermilion.
We were contacted by a subscriber about her case and were able to assist her on the way home. @ChaosDivers and I arrived around 5pm and began to sonar the ramp leading into the lake. Rounding the boat dock, we crossed over an anomaly in the water. We all knew in our hearts that this was Abbie’s Ford Edge.
Jacob and I dressed and dove into the vehicle. We were able to retrieve the plates and confirm it was her vehicle.
Law enforcement was then called and they came quickly. A plan was developed and the Vermilion County Dive team arrived around the same time as the towing service. Abbie’s car was removed and remains were confirmed. We are awaiting official DNA results to confirm it is Abigail.
Our condolences to her loved ones as they begin healing from this tragedy.

To only imagine what these families have gone through to now having answers from and because of these exceptional people out here spending their lives helping families!! One of My wife’s cousins was found very similar to this case. So it all is very close to home! Sending prayers for all the families and prayers of safety and much respect for all these divers!!

I have watched Depths of History for some time now and I am so proud of this new journey you are on. Thank you so much for everything you do for families. My father died by suicide a couple of years ago but thankfully we didn't have to search for him. Many years ago my father in law left for a couple of days but he was found above water. Your videos speak to my soul.

So tragic, and only missing a week, there are all the what is, maybe’s and people wishing they had seen the sign that she wanted to end her life. Sadly if they mean to do it, these poor people will find a way. My heart goes out to her family, especially her children, Thankyou Britton for all you did to help. I just wanted to say you are doing so well, working with the other guys from AWP, NUG and CHAOS DIVERS and Lindsay, having done that role previously I can tell you have all found that calling. As I said previously if it doesent hurt like your looking for one of your own, then its time to walk away, use the upset to make you better at bringing the lost home. In regards to this case your investigative knowledge has lead you guys to Bringing Abbie home in a short time frame, be very very proud- we are. Mark.

It's weird how the police spent weeks or months searching than you're team comes along and finds them within minutes just amazes me nice work guys and your team
Britian, it's OK to cry. Had this been one of my kids, I would be comforting you more than worrying about myself. I lost a daughter in her car, though not in water.
Crying shows you're a real man and not afraid to show it.
A real man controls their emotions long enough to get the job done, but then it is best to let them all out through tears if necessary.
