- Yasha was ridiculously strong and awesome in Episode 17. I had to capture her top moments.
She singlehandedly balanced out Fjord's 3 natural 1s by having 3 natural 20s.
I also had to include Jester's awesome natural 20 at the strength test game. Those girls are buff.
Can you imagine how much Beau's crush on Yasha expanded during this episode? Every time she turns around Yasha is being badass and awkward.

I've played a Barb before and then replaced it with another character and I felt the same way!
@@Comicsluvr one of my players is a barb and is writing it off. He's trading it for a paladin. The group is not ready for the challenge.
It's only fitting that, in Ashley's absence, Travis once more gets to occasionally be a Barbarian. I love how every so often, he slips slightly into his Grog voice when he says "I would like to raaaage."
I'm sure he also feels somewhat like a proud father watching his daughter. Cuz one episode waaaay back in the day. Ashley was impressed by Travis's rage that she mentioned next character she made she wanted to be a barbarian

My DM is a massive CR fan and used the same strength checks for arm wrestling at a festival in our game.
I play an Stronk Lesbian Aasimar Paladin, and my DM gave me a custom magic item that allows me to Rage like a Barbarian would. (I think that was at minimum 30% so that he can make Yasha jokes at me lmao, but it also fits nicely with Oath of Vengeance)
So I ended up arm wrestling with the Goliath Captain of the King's Guard. We went back, forth, back, forth, finally we were in the middle. Whole party is losing our minds.
I rolled a Natural 20.
The Goliath rolled a Natural 1.
I snapped his arm and broke the table too, for good measure. Then, as a power move, I used Lay on Hands to heal his arm before walking away with my winnings.

it added up to 18
Yasha rolled something lower than 18, but she also added advantage/her strength to get her to 22. But Gunthar rolled a natural 18 (and after adding his advantagd/strength, it would have been above 22), so inevitably Gunthar got a higher number
"rolled an 18" = natural 18. That guy has a strength bonus of over 4.
Rolled an 18 but has a plus 5 so he rolled a 23
Will Erin Natural 18 without modifiers So was probably over 22 with modifiers

Unlikely. She's an aasimar which are similar to tieflings except while tieflings bear human and infernal ancestry, aasimar bear human and celestial ancestry
GhostBlazerX Grogs race is goliath and Yasha is an aasimar so they are different races at least. So I dont think they are related.
Unlikely, Yasha has Celestial/Divine blood, Grog has Giant blood. They were born in different continents. But most importantly Matt wants to keep the two Campaigns separate so...
Grog was a Goliath which are mountain born and often go around the world looking for fights. Yasha is a Assimar which is basically the fallen angel race. So while she has similrities that is mostly due to the class and not race and personality sorry to bash your hopes

If Matt said raw strength mod how did yasha get a 24 she has a +3 strength so even if she rolled a natural 20 it would be 23

She's probably proficient in strength checks.
Maybe she confused her Strength Check mod and her Strength Saving Throw mod, which is +5 at that point and she probably rolled a 19
at level 4 she would have either a feat or an stat improvement so maybe the listed 17 is wrong is my guess
