The premonition class was always a dream ship for me, if they did put that in STO it would be a dream come true for me. I've tried to make something close but it never worked out.
I'm FTP so I was getting the ship no matter what but after the last couple years ships, this ship had seemed really underwhelming and this explains why it was that way. There are some cool Klingon, Romulan, and Cardassian ships in Armada II with the Qeh'Ral Class, Veles Class, and Brinok Class being the most distinctive. If they are mining that game for ideas we may actually be getting a trickle of new ships for the other factions for a bit.

Regarding the Star Trek Armada teaser I think the type of ship showcased also could be a hint. Nebula hints at science vessel, Excelsior at a cruiser, and Galaxy could hint at a dreadnought.
Galaxy isn't a Dreadnought. It's an Exploration Cruiser. So if you're going by Ship Type represented, it would be Exploration Cruiser, Advanced Research Vessel, and Heavy Cruiser. I'm probably huffing massive hopium, but I really hope this means they're going to, finally, give us an actually good T6 Galaxy Variant on Account Unlock!
I'm the guy that was impatient and had lobi and enjoys gambling that console is amazing and a must on any build with universal designs and makes the dprm have great uptime doesn't work well on immolating phaser lance or vaq warheads but the tachyon net drones and dprm WOW is all I can say. This and unconventional systems have perfect synergy and makes consoles cool down amazing. It appears to reduce past minimum cool down when I have been using it.
My favorite play style is EPG. This console is INSANE on an EPG build using many different anomaly universal consoles (plasma storm, genesis seed, delphic tear, etc.)
The T6 Obelisk is one of the strongest carriers for pet builds in the game. I never understand why the first video was so negative towards it. If you like pet torpedo spam there are few Carriers that can match it.
The event is live on Tribble, so copy over Lobi and/or keys to it and you can buy the Vovin out there to try it out. Yes, Uncon effects it. The new four-piece set the console was added to is novel if nothing else, it spawns Swarmers that respond to all Hangar stuff, like Scramble Fighters and SAD, so copy over enough to get the T5 Lobi Obelisk and the set pieces from the mission if you want to play around with it.
The teaser has another major possibility that hit me. All of the ships shown seem to be ones that had been in the Star Trek: Attack Wing promos with special skins.
The only other thing I noticed is for shite & giggles on my healing ship, yes I do have one that starches paint on normal difficulty when I'm in the mood to helping out or lazy & let others do the work, is you have on the main panel when logging in where you can create a Temporal Agent account wide reward unlock character again. So I'll be working on finally completing the Command Frequency trait to superior I saw in one of your builds.
As far as what other ships may be in the bundle, there is still the Freedom class and the Melbourne variant of the Nebula class from Wolf 359 that they modeled and never released. Though I still have half a suspicion the latter may end up as the exclusive skin on a Legendary Nebula. Been a while since they released a legendary ship, and even longer for a science one.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Armada ships are actually Borg ships. We're fighting several different Borg factions from across the multiverse, so why not give them more ships? They already added the Assimilator from Armada.

Naturally my ground crew are equipped with stuff like the Ferengi energy whip, various swords, the crossbow looking Kobali gun, that sorta thing; and the Engineer ground officer does nothing but summon bugs. Like I said, very silly, very fun!
Well, the Vovin is clearly a tanking focused carrier, so its trait and console are survival focused. And while the ship isn't that impressive by itself, that console alone makes it worthwhile and practically a must have.
I know they're more TMP era ships and who knows if STO can get the licensing for it, but it would be nice to see some of the vessels from the ST: Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Command series of games by Interplay. They had quite a few different designs for various factions that they could implement into the game and even have 2410 versions of. **IF** they can get the licensing for it.
I've said the same thing in the past. I'm sure they're allowed to use the old ships from the Starfleet Command games, Paramount did say they're allowed to use any assets from previous Trek games as long as they remake the assets themselves (which they would have to anyway, so it's a good deal). Technically we already got one thing from Starfleet Command II, the Kodai fighter pets originate from that game. So it's very possible we'll get playable ships from that game eventually. I really want the Federation Carrier from Starfleet Command II to be a playable ship in STO.
The blog post for the Aetherian Revelation _finally_ started including the tooltip for the Console and Trait, only for them to not do that again with the next ships, even when the Vovin had something great in the tooltip. 🙄 As for the supposed bundle, in lieu of there being many more options from Armada-original ships, I'd think this could be an opportunity for them to release the Melbourne and 24th Century Freedom classes, which were introduced for the Wolf 359 TFO, but absent from the 14th anniversary bundle. I can't think of what stats, consoles or Specializations I'd give those ships, but if they do the TNG Freedom class, the TOS or TMP Saladin would be a reasonable expectation for an alternate skin.
Taking a guess about the Armada teaser. If it really is going to be a bundle. I see it being the premonition, and possibly the rest will be Klingon and romulan ships from the game. People have been asking for more Klingon and romulan ships for sto. But just a guess.
I used 450 lobi to unlock it and it is really good. I main a Temporal Paradox dreadnought and this is as good if not better depending on if you want lots of pets as your play style. The console makes my plasma storm ready alot faster. Not pavan 3pc glitch cool down levels but very noticeable. The high hull mod makes it feel great in any elite tfo and ive only pvp once in Ker'rat on my weaker alt klingon but she put up a real problem for the max level fed i came across. Its a really good ship this year.
A ship I am still hoping for, even if there is 0% of it ever happening, is the Proxima Class, I have always liked this ship from Star Trek Legacy ( off topic I know )
Remember there is also an unofficial Star Trek Armada 3 mod for Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion. Imagine the other two ships being the Polaris and Excalibur class titans! (Do I think this is likely? No, but it's fun to think about!)
As you said, Armada 3 is an unofficial project, meaning it's fan-made and was not licensed Star Trek media (kinda why its a mod of another game and not a direct sequel). Star Trek Online can't use fan-made ships like Polaris and Excalibur.

Technically, you could do one thanks to that Miracle Worker seat, but only having a 3/3 weapons layout, a Beams build isn't going to be the best. Since it's a carrier, you're probably better off relying on the pets and using the beams to support them, like using Suppression Barrage in the Command seat. This console is amazing. I love being able to teleport around AND i am firing off other consoles over and over thanks to this. I almost feel like its getting nerfed.
Jeez, 30% Hull Regeneration in combat. Use my Legendary Avenger for tanking. Frickled months and bought ships only for traits and consoles. With that console and the ability to reduce console cooldowns for 50% in the end there is nothing in PvE that can kill me anymore or will stay longer then just seconds in one piece. Ok, same as before, but now i dont even need to look at the screen anymore 😂

Somthing else that alot of people dont know. This console had no range for its tp. Imagine your in infected. Use the console and you tp infront of the borg during prep time. Unless they made sure you cant be used during prep time, itll bug the tfo out
It's more that I don't engage with the lockboxes as much some players. Since that's where lobi comes from, if I opened more boxes I'd have a bigger stockpile, but I don't because the odds of getting what I want out of them are kinda shit. I usually open lockboxes when I need lobi, but I use that lobi stuff in the lobi store that can't be sold on the exchange (like gear), so I don't want to use that up on something I can unlock for free. If there was more motivation for me to open lockboxes, I'd probably have more lobi and be more willing to buyout the event. So I wouldn't say the buyout is overpriced so much as I would say that the lockboxes need an overhaul to give more reason to engage with them.
Some ppl must be nice to afford the zen and lobi wanta donate some stuff to me PlayStation lol still have many zen ships I want and sister variants I want ass variants rom d7 and vorcha
@@SkydreamPony half its abilities were nerfed or removed. You could literally hit hazard emitters and reset the consoles cooldown entirely, giving you basically an infinite weapon haste, including on the cnidarian jelly mode. And that got absolutely removed

I use Lobi to buyout the seasonal event because it lets me sandbag about 400K unrefined dilithium to work with between events.
